Well the term resort is a stretch, this place is a broken down hotel with a nice view. We came on a Sunday around 5 the restaurant and bar close at 3pm. and the pool at 8. The first room had ants and bugs so we requested another room. No ants but bugs in the corners of the room, we were too tired to leave so we stayed the night. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

225 dollars for dinner and drinks the meat was rotten and uncooked I nibbled twice and just didnt touch it afterward it smelled like a fart and was raw seriously. The Salmon was tough as leather and dry they do not have any regard for quality at all. Their bartender is not a professional and does not know how to make a drink at 15 dollars a pop i had 4 but i can drink anything and laugh about it. No continental breakfast at all and there should be. Hair dryer doesn't work. Spiders behind toilet. Bugs everywhere. Rundown place. The roasted vegetables and mashed taters were scrumptious. The bed and pillows wonderful and clean linnen. What can i expect at 465 dollars for a 2 day stay? The staff are wonderful people but cooking and bar tending i wanted to go show them how to do it soooo badly but embarassing them worse wouldn't go over well. Oh.....only decaf coffee in the morning. Oh my gosh major sin.....had to go to the office for real coffee. No phone in the room use your own cell or travel to the office. In conclusion.....I will never come back and i feel nobody should come here unless you enjoy a comedy of errors because thats all we got out of it. Sad because once upon a time this place was amazing. It should have stayed closed. It should be closed. Never again.

The worst case of hotel cat fishing ever. Website advertises themselves as a "FULL SERVICE RESORT" and it is anything but that. At best during the week it is a motel with a pool and no service or activities of any kind. When we arrived to check in it was a complete ghost town and im not just talking about zero other guests the ONLY staff on premises was a young security guard and a front desk worker. 2 people for an entire "resort". No manager on site. Not only that but they repeatedly tried to contact, locate, message, and call the manager and could not. Walking up to the front desk something feels off because everything is quiet no guests, no music and the restaurant is literally lights off closed down in the middle of the day. I go to check in and there's a tiny little sign that advertises their restaurant hours as CLOSED MON-WED and ONLY open on weekends. Their website says "Our restaurants are now open for the 2025 season!" PLURAL restaurant advertising BUT everything is shut down M-W with no breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, no bar, no poolside service absolutely no staff or service of any kind M-W. We were there on a Monday so of course I asked the clerk if there were other options for food on the property. NOPE. Any restaurants nearby? 2 about 15 minutes away. What about food by the pool? NOPE Drinks? We have some beer and wine behind the counter. What can I give my kids to eat? You can go to the grocery store about 20 min away. Is the Spa open? No. Are there any activities besides the pool? You can rent a kayak. When I booked a "full service resort" for my birthday trip with my kids this was not at all what I was expecting and besides crying after driving the 2 hours in 100 degree heat to get there all I could do was try and figure out how to salvage the trip. We wanted to leave and they only let us get out of two of the nights I had booked and ONLY 15% OFF our room which came out to $419!!! For a nothing special so called "suite" because it had a couch and a fridge. So all we could do was drive another 30 minutes away to try and have a nice birthday dinner and stay the one night leaving immediately the next day for $419. We didn't even swim beause they said we WERENT ALLOWED TO BRING PIR OWN FOOD OR DRINKS TO THE POOL even though they had NO FOOD/DRINKS for even my kids on premises. Ill never stay here again for multiple reasons FALSE ADVERTSING as a "full service resort" and then not even having the opportunity to speak to a manager or anyone that could help was next level terrible service. Cherry on top the 15% off an already overpriced room (dirty toilet that ran all night, non functioning oven from the 70s, zero blankets my kids used robes on the couch, dirty kitchen counters). Buyer beware. Maybe it's better on the weekends but dont be fooled into everything you see on their website.

While the husbands fished in the Catfish Bash Tournament my friend and I spent two days at the Spa and poolside. Long ago my husband and I attended great concerts, relaxing spa massages and had soooo much fun in the bar- these have been great memories and fun stories to share. This trip did not disappoint from my first phone call with Bailey to the luxurious spa treatments from Ariel on to the tiki bar drinks service and the energetic Malcolm poolside setting us up safely with the massive umbrella. We didn’t stay at the resort so I can’t speak to the quality of the rooms but I can say the lobby was nostalgic and the grounds look great and the pool was very clean and popular with the kids. Bailey was so professional as she made multiple calls to me confirming our spa appointments and was so sweet in person. Can’t recommend enough the spa experience with Ariel… I had my first Lymphatic massage and it was incredible and Ariel was very knowledgeable about the benefits of this type of massage. The spa experience included time in the sauna and personal jacuzzi tub. Best part ….SUGAR & SALT Scrub in the Cabana poolside! We look forward to our husbands next fishing trip so we can book with Ariel and relax poolside.

My mother which 92 years at the time last year book a room in there ADA Room. Rude staff, no phone in the room and day of check out office had chain on doors leaving guest with no access or calling. I live in Florida so I was not a guest at the time. Called the manager which the conversation went well she offered a full refund. Never got the refund so tried on several occasions to contact the manager no resolution. Finally gave up. My mother wanted to stay for her 93 birthday I made the reservation for 8-1 thru 8-3 this year online and was sent an email the next day and was cancelled. Tried to call the front desk refused my call and claimed I am now banned from the hotel. I have never been a guest just trying to help my mother. I will be reporting to the BBB. Horrible experience.

Memory Lane… Modernized
The rooms have been recently renovated. It looks like they went on the Temu app and purchased everything for the hotel. It’s all so super cheap it’s already falling apart. Some things are still super old and broken.
-Fire doesn’t work
-Screen door is off
-The ac has a bright light u can’t turn off
-the door chain, chains to nothing
However, I freaking love this place.
The staff is wonderful!
The view is amazing!
Nice, charming change form the cookie cutter hotels!
We will be visiting again.
