Cute little cabin! Nice quiet area. Everything we needed for cooking available. Bathroom Sink drained a bit slowly. Check in and Check out super easy. My kids thought it was a fun little adventure!

Got a large cabin with 2 Queen beds. Was a cozy place and the staff was very friendly and nice. Only negative is the hwy noise. It sits on the corner of a main hwy that connects Leadville and BV, as well as to Twin Lakes...which is less than a mile away offering stunning views. Still, the condition of these cabins were great and gave that cozy cabin feeling.

Horrible a éviter!

Seems like they put minimal effort into these places. Did not feel much love went into the cabin. The curtains are useless and cabin 10 that we stayed in gets blinding sunlight into the cabin in the afternoon. We had to put a towel over the window to block it to watch tv. The windows don’t have screens so you can’t open a window to cool off without letting in bugs. The bed is like sleeping on a slab of granite. The place has potential if the owners would update and put more thought into accommodating their guests.

There was hair in the bed when we pulled the blankets back, kinda gross. The area was quiet at least and easy check in.

Winmar Cabins has a sleazy owner who is not on top of running a business. We booked a room in early July for a high school mountain bike race in late August for my daughter directly through Winmar Cabin's website. Apparently, he double booked the room, and did not honor our paid for reservation, and gave the room to someone who booked through a different website. Although the double booking happened in early July, we were not notified of this until he pulled his head out of his butt in the middle of August, less than two weeks before the race weekend that brought about a thousand bike riders and their families to a very small town. We could not find another lodging option for a reasonable rate with the time frame we were given. The kicker on all of this is, a few days after we were supposed to stay there, the sleazy owner did not take our information out of his online system, and we got a wonderful email thanking us for our stay at his business. The guy who owns the Winmar Cabins has no moral compass or ethics and hopefully he is run out of business for operating this way.

If looking for a basic cabin away from town and close to many outdoor activities, this place will work. The interiors of the cabin was clean, comfortable and adequately appointed. The views from the cabins are nice, 8f you overlook the mediate surroundings.
