Quiet, clean, comfortable. Good use of space. Friendly staff. Full refrigerator/freezer, so able to cool ice packs over night. Room doors were a variety of colors and at least with ours, the decor matched. Had a lovely barn type door to bathroom as well and marble in the shower area. Ground floor only. A nice change from hauling luggage up stairs. Probably recently updated. Nice and fresh. Nice size tv as well. No coffee pot in room and no breakfast. But overall great place to stay.

Unable to wake up front desk person to check in
Arrived very late (2:15 a.m.) to check in after a long drive. Room was fully paid for in advance and the description indicates there is 24/7 front desk so I didn't think it would be an issue arriving late. When we got there the front office was locked. We could see someone in the office sleeping in a chair and attempted to knock loudly and ring the doorbell but the front desk attendant would not wake up so we wound up leaving without staying at the property so unable to comment on the condition of the room or anything else. I called ********** today for a refund given the circumstances and they tried to reach out to the property to discuss but couldn't get anyone to pick up the phone and said they would email me back in 72 hours. I respectfully request a full refund for the night since we were unable to use the room even though we were there.

My room, including bathroom, was renovated, very clean. I did try to reach the hotel, by phone, 3 days before traveling. I was never able to connect with them.

An awesome spot in Lake City
Quiet motel in Lake City was a big surprise....the grounds were very well kept; the inside of the unit was gorgeous, spacious and super clean. I cannot say that about many of the motels that I rent, but Regal Inn is awesome. The check in was easy, and the lady at the front office was very friendly and accommodating. Read some of the reviews, they were actually pretty good so I thought I would give it a chance. I wrote this review from the hotel room the night that I stayed, not after I’d left and so far no issues. The place was clean, all the lights worked, location was pretty good, and there was a Denny’s just down the road where I could get my breakfast in the morning. Parking lot was well lit and very fast Internet download speeds although pretty bad upload speeds if you wanted to send pictures or video out. Honestly, I can’t complain although I hadn’t tried the shower yet but there was decent water pressure from the sink and the toilet flushed good.
