Guest Inn Lake City

I hope this motel is a safe place to stay

This motel should seriously be condemned. Unfortunately we got to Lake City late and no rooms available EXCEPT Guest Inn. I guess that should have been our first clue. Second clue the gal at the front said I could check out the non smoking room first if I wanted to as she thinks someone might have smoked in it last night. By passing that we checked in. OH MY, door wouldn’t shut unless you rammed your body against it, holes in the walls, candy wrappers in the made bed were the cleanest thing about the bed, what we guess was years of tracked over chewed gum all over the carpet, fights outside our door late in the night, I’d continue but it just gets worse. If you are unlucky enough to have to stay here, bring your own blankets to wrap yourself in and wear shoes at all times. Expect that you won’t be showering as well. I completely agree with a previous review, if there was a zero I’d be hard pressed to ever give that rating.
