I have stayed in a lot of Best Westerns and I will not be going back to this one. Main reason is I had found a good deal on their website and booked the rooms. I even checked a few days before my stay to see if we could get the connecting rooms. I was told she had given us connecting rooms on the 1st floor. When we went to check in I was told one room was on 4th floor and the other was on 1st floor. When I advsed what I had been told she said she had to call the manager to do this. He said they didn't have that but he would see if he could find connecting rooms. After about a 30 min. wait he said he could do a king and double. I asked if the double would be same price and he said no it was higher, I asked if he could match the price on my reservation and he said no, but he would give me 40-50 dollars off a night. Well since he didn't honor my reservation price the room cost me $ 57.88 more for that room. So that tells me a reservation is not a binding contract. 😡

Nice hotel for the price. One of the two phone usb plugs didn't work in our room but the other did. Just make sure to check when you plug up. Don't want to wake up to a dead phone. If you need assistance, maintenance did respond quickly, at least during the day. Desk clerks were friendly and helpful.

The hotel breakfast was awful! The pool was entirely too cold for an end of May stay. Maid service only available upon request!!

I didn’t find staff to be helpful. My tv had no volume. When AI asked for towels I was told they were out for the day. The only thing I was satisfied with was the hot and fresh breakfast.

Improvement of principles needed
The property was okay but you can quickly tell the property is not being maintained like it should and will quickly deteriorate. The customer service was also poor. I arrived at 2pm and there was a woman checking in in front of me and I herd the manager tell her that check in was at 4pm but he had a couple rooms and he would be able to check her in if she paid a $25 fee. She was obviously irritated but reluctantly agreed to pay the fee. Then it was my turn and conveniently he had the same couple of rooms available if I was willing to pay the fee. The exact type of room that I booked just happened to be available if I was willing to pay the fee. I just feel the integrity of this hotel is not what it needs to be and I will not be staying there again.
