Homewood Suites by Hilton Largo Washington D.C.

I had a wonderful stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Largo Washington D.C. from March 14 to March 18, 2025. The location was excellent—very convenient for getting around and close to many attractions. The service and facilities were top-notch, and every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only area that could be slightly improved was cleanliness—while generally good, there were a few small details that could have been better. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers.

Our experience here was really disappointing. The room we reserved was over $400 but we justified it because we could share it with my sister in law. The room pictured had a partition wall between the bedroom and living room, the room we received did not. We would not have booked this room if we knew. Furthermore, when we arrived at 4:40, there were no rooms available for us to check in. We were in town for a concert starting and the delayed check in caused us to miss the start. When we finally got into a room, there were no linens available for the pull out sofa and the bed was made with a mattress liner instead of a flat sheet. It was clearly unwashed and we opted for sleeping on an uncovered mattress and no covers. The staff was unapologetic for everything and offered no compensation.

Was there with my family for a soccer tournament. When we checked in the staff was not friendly nor did they seem to care that you were there checking in. The room was musty, carpet dirty and hair all over the floor in the bathroom. The hair dryer was covered in dirt and hair spray with hairs sticking to it. The ironing board was missing, and the Iron was broken. The bathroom sink backed up and wouldn't drain. I called the front desk twice to have someone unclogged the sink, but no one came to fix it. Had to use the sink in the dirty kitchen to brush teeth and get ready. Housekeeping never came to the room to clean it or to give fresh towels. It honestly felt like an old dirty Super 8. I have called the GM 3 separate times leaving 2 voicemails with no return phone call. Nobody at this hotel seems to care about anything related to hospitality. I actually own several hotels including Hilton properties. This is by far the worse Hilton property I have ever stayed at. If I owned this hotel, the GM would be the first to go. There is a Double Tree right next door. You might have better luck there. There is a reason why this hotel is rated the 5th best hotel (out of 5 hotels) in the area. STAY AWAY!!!! Sleep in your car if you have too just not here.

This was a very pleasant surprise. I would stay here again, most definitely.

My room was very nice. Housekeeping kept it neat and clean over my 7-night stay. Front desk clerk overall were hospitable. 1, Didn't like the fact that I was told on the day I arrived that I would not be getting the accommodations I booked for which was a handicapped assessable room with roll-in shower due to overbooking. I did get a bathtub assessable room instead. I felt I should have been notified of this change prior to my date of arrival and at the least received a discount. 2, I stopped at desk to ask to make a request for Maintenace in my room to a younger man. He barely made eye contact with me and it was hard to hear his answer.

Breakfast everyday. Metro station was 7 minutes away. Many restaurants and gas stations right near by!
