Took a chance which paid off. Great location and a nice rooftop bar to eat and drink at while watching the sunset.
Rooms were reasonably spacious and a large bathroom, although not much space for toiletries etc.
A little run down, but seemed to appeal to the charm of the place.

Disappointing experience.
1. Hotel's parking is a block away across the street. Parking spots are tiny, larger cars will have hard time parking.
2. Air conditioning units are those portable things on wheels. Right in the room. Very loud, turns on/off all night.
3. Windows open sliding up - don't stay open, too old/falling apart. Also have no screen.
4. Room is the tiniest I ever seen in hotels.
5. Bathroom sink - stand alone sink with no space to put toiletries on.
Pros:
Clean.
Great location right near the beach.
Rooftop bar, restaurant onsite and great Mexican restaurant across the street.
Friendly service, front desk person was very helpful.

Love Casa Del Camino! Have had repeat visits and its charm and location are superb! The staff is very accommodating and use of towels and beach chairs a plus. Ocean us steps away and local restaurants within walking distance are fantastic!

Terrible Billing Experience – Will Not Be Returning We stayed at La Casa del Camino for two nights and added an extra night during our stay. Somehow, they double charged us for the original two nights and then charged us through the 24th, even though we checked out on the morning of the 22nd. I’ve been on the phone with them for a week straight trying to resolve this, and only received a partial refund. No one took full responsibility or offered a proper explanation. This kind of shady and unprofessional billing practice is unacceptable. Disgusting experience after what should’ve been a relaxing trip. Do not recommend. Will not be coming back.

Room was not clean. There were many stains on the rug and the cement floor. The bathroom hasd a strong unpleasant odor that came from the sink. The rooftop restaurant was pleasant with nice ocean views. We were there for the Laguna Arts Festival. Festival was excellent with outstanding music and local artists.

Cute place with great beach access. Loved the rooms and staff was very nice. Enjoyed the restaurant, as well! Will be going back soon.
