Fantástico Hotel. Atención personalizada por Javier, el alma del hotel. Habitaciones amplias, cómodas y muy bien acondicionadas. Desayuno espectacular. Vistas de Laguardia increíbles desde la torre del hotel. Sin duda debería ser un hotel de 4 estrellas en lugar de 2 estrellas. Un 10.

We stayed in September and instantly fell in love with the village, the hotel, and the host. Javier made us feel like royalty throughout our entire stay. The castle is absolutely stunning, and the rooms are tasteful and beautiful. The bar and terrace are a delightful bonus, and we simply didn't want to leave! I am looking forward to returning to this hotel. It's a gem.

Een ontzettend charmante gastheer ontvangt ons met een passie en liefde voor zijn hotel, een klein kasteeltje. Je waant je honderd jaar terug in de tijd! De kamers zijn zeer smaakvol ingericht. Schitterend ontbijt, attentvol gebracht. De uitbater doet er alles aan om je te behagen! Enkele minpuntjes, je kan niet met de bagage tot aan het hotel omdat het gelegen is in een ommuurd stadje, maar door de charme vergeet je dit snel!

Depending what you are looking for but it was a great place to stay in Laguardia … the castle is old but well preserved and the room was very roomy. Expect not too have all of the modern facility but this is what makes this hotel unique! Also, our host was Xavier and have looked after us for any needs and information you may need plus he is looking after breakfast in the morning which is a culinary experience ! The only challenge would be parking if you were coming by car as this hotel is part of the old town … brut there are public parking available within walking distance

Beautiful hotel with a stunning view from the top. The whole building has been furnished with such taste it is incredible, The host is an amazing man who couldn’t do any more to help us. We stayed in 9 different hotels during our travels and this was, by far, the standout.

We have been there for two nights. The first room (no 2) was big and beautiful - perfect for an old castle. The bathroom not up to date but everything clean and ok (we knew before due to the photos). We had very hot weather in August and the air condition was not able to cool the room down - so we did not sleep well. Next morning I told this the host (elderly man at the reception); he apologized and told us that we can change the room. We did this and although the room was smaller we were glad with the working air con and slept like babys. Why am rating with 5 points: the host (owner?) was so incredibly kind and hospitable that we didn‘t feel like being in a hotel rather than being his personal guest in a castle. After checking in he came to our room with two glasses of wine and water - awesome. It was a great experience for us to stay in this place. The location in the village is excellent. Maybe the nicest village in Rioja? Rooms were quiet.
