I highly recommend this stay! :)
The walk into town may be a bit longer, but the beaches, and especially the sunset by the sea, are within walking distance!

Good day to all! The hotel is really great, modern, new and very comfortable and all 5 stars are justified! The location is very cool and the nearest beaches are 10 minutes walk away. The staff is quite professional and friendly. The food is delicious, but the breakfasts are monotonous and the selection is not large. Everything that can be bought in the bar is quite democratic in price and tasty. Drinks are so-so and very expensive, including alcoholic ones. Dinner for one costs 35@ and this, I think, is overpriced. The big minus is that there are no sports or evening entertainment events. Sometimes there are, but rarely and boring! For luxury away from people, I recommend.

I was completely satisfied from the time I arrived at the hotel to the time I left.
All the staff were friendly and I was able to rest comfortably during my stay.
The clean and beautiful pool and the sunset I saw from the balcony of the room were unforgettable.
The breakfast was also delicious. It was nice to be able to eat an omelet.

A bit of distance from Old Town and city center but very close to Camilo beach and Ponta da Piedade. No /limited water supply on the check out date. Room is nicely designed but limited space to put my stuff. House keeping just replace bedsheet and did not refill supply of sanity kit and water and the second day

We had a fantastic stay at The Editory by the Sea in Lagos. The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and a short walk to the old town. The hotel has a modern, minimalist feel with beautiful interiors and calming views of the ocean.
The service was warm and professional throughout our stay. Staff were friendly, helpful, and always available if we needed anything, without being intrusive.
Our room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel more luxurious. The pool area was lovely—quiet, relaxing, and a great spot to unwind after exploring the Algarve.
Breakfast was a highlight! Plenty of variety with fresh local options, from fruit and pastries to cooked dishes. We also had dinner at the hotel one night and were really impressed with the quality and presentation.
Overall, The Editory was the perfect mix of design, comfort, and location. We’d absolutely recommend it for anyone looking to stay in Lagos!

Service is still very poor. The hotel has only recently opened. The staff is clearly unprepared, with the exception of the bartender at the internal bar. He was very friendly and experienced in making up for the obvious shortcomings of the space.
