Our stay at the Salty lodge was absolutely fantastic. We were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony and gorgeous ocean view, but even with this we still enjoyed using the rooftop each evening for a predinner drink. Our apartment was incredibly well equipped, even for cooking, and the access to basics such as oil and balsamic etc was such a help. Guests also have access to bikes and beach equipment. The staff were all really helpful and communication was amazing with lots of recommendations that we tried and were really happy with too. Air conditioning worked so well, we stayed during the heat wave and were totally comfortable. We truly hope to be able to stay at this beautiful place again one day .

The place was amazing and the view was spectacular, the welcoming from Joana was lovely and all the tips for restaurants and places to eat was great! They had really thought about everything that you could need or borrow, from beach things to a fullt stocked kitchen.

Super Unterkunft, extrem freundliches Personal, Kommunikation top, sehr unkompliziert und hilfsbereit, rooftop Terrasse wirklich cool, super zentrale Lage in der Altstadt, unzählige Restaurants nebenan, wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten!

The perfect stay at Lagos! Totally recommend it, clean and modern, with perfect location to the town and marina and close to most attractions. Walkable distance to beach ~7 minutes. Great hosts (a special thank you for Joana), kind, very helpful. Would come back for sure! Best experience ever!

I can’t recall how we found The Salty Lodge but glad we did! Great location and close to lots of amazing restaurants. Prompt communication throughout the process (reservation through checkout). The room was very comfortable, clean and inviting with plenty of towels, linens and pillows. We loved the balcony and watching the sunrise each morning. The staff was extremely helpful with our questions. We look forward to coming back!

Very clean apartment with lots of light. Great location in the old town area. Walking distance from restaurants, shops and attractions. Nice views from the balcony. Host provided detailed instructions and information to make our stay enjoyable.

I don’t have enough good things to say about this place. Everything was perfect, location was close to the bus stop if traveling from Lisbon, extremely clean, beautiful views, and by the downtown area while being within walking distance to many beaches. Nothing but positive reviews.

What a wonderful stay. We are 2 couples in our 60s and we stayed here for 4 nights in May. Each couple had a 1 bedroom apartment with a small balcony. We were on the 3rd floor and had a slight view of the sea. They have a rooftop area where you can bring your own wine and snacks and enjoy a stunning view of the beach. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great-right in the middle of the action. It can be noisy at night with revelers in the streets, but we didn’t mind. If you are going to be so close to everything noise kind of comes with the territory. All in all, highly recommend.
