Didn’t even stay because it was in the wrong city.
Still charged me for the room and I ended having to book a second room in the correct city !

This motel used to be beautiful. Needs money put back into it and a deep clean. Walls and doors, etc need to be thoroughly cleaned. The price was good, beds clean but rooms have a particular "funk" smell to them. Looks more like a work motel than a "country club". With a little bit of time, effort and money this motel could be great again but as it stands 3 star is being generous

Motel was quiet and clean. Owner is very friendly and super accommodating! Simple breakfast in the morning. Lounge is no longer open (that’s where breakfast is). Cheap and cheerful. Easy to access on the edge of Lacombe. Liquor store, gas, and a good breakfast cafe across the parking lot.

I so regret staying at this motel for one night in December 2022. I had to travel to Lacombe to be in town for a friend who had suddenly lost her mother. I told the female host about this tragedy, but it did not deter her from charging me $308.99 for the $99.00 room. She claimed she was taking a $200.00 room deposit that would be returned to me, but of course it hasn't been. I'm now wasting days (and tears) on exploring every possible legal action I can take against the unscrupulous staff at Lacombe Country Club Inn who go so low as to take hundreds of dollars from bereaved customers at Christmas.
