Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans votre établissement, nous sommes ravis. L’accueil été parfait, la literie tres agréable. La chambre avec une vue a couper le souffle, est très propre. Le petit-déjeuner est super. Bref ne changeait rien.

Review of La Pause de Gout Guest House: A unique house decorated with great taste and attention to detail. We felt right at home. Stephan and Ysa are extremely friendly and welcoming. Ysa prepared a spectacular duck confit for us, along with other delicacies paired with regional wines. Stephan, always full of captivating stories, suggested we visit charming villages and natural treasures nearby. The views from the upstairs bedroom and dining room are simply spectacular. The house is located in a very quiet area, perfect for relaxing, yet close to tourist attractions such as Rocamadour, Collonges-la-Rouge, and the Gouffre de Padirac. An unforgettable stay in an exceptional setting. We highly recommend La Pause de Gout!

The place is very pleasant and quiet; the welcome is friendly; rooms and bathroom perfect, comfortable and superbly decorated. Excellent breakfast On the other hand, the table d'hôtes is not really one for us who are fervent followers; we were very disappointed because we were not warned: the owners do not dine with us as is done at the table d'hôtes which is sought after for this moment of conviviality and sharing. What is more, in our many years of practice, we have never had to pay for an aperitif (it is generally regional and simple) it was a walnut wine but...; the same for wine at the table (it is always generously offered to us) and also for coffee (always a coffee or herbal tea offered at the end of the meal)... In summary, we had a good dinner but we felt more like we were in a restaurant than in a bed and breakfast! Luckily another couple had dinner almost at the same time as us... In short, we are sorry but we will not be back or just to sleep well and enjoy the delicious breakfast. Cash payment is required for meals. If you pay by credit card it is a 2% supplement; luckily we had a checkbook!!!

The hosts are extremely nice and accommodating. It was a bit of a surprise that I was staying in an upstairs apt of their home. Regardless, it was comfortable and they are friendly. Stunning views of the village and the valley from the apt.
