Nice property but cramped bathroom
The property is very nice. The lake is just across the road, and they offer rentals for non motorized water crafts. Restaurant on site with decent menu. Children playground is available. This is kind of a resort property in a mini scale.
The room assigned to us (#3) was nice, but it was not equipped with blackout curtains. So you can expect the light to welcome you early in the morning. Also the room needs more lights/lamps. It is impossible to read while lying on the bed. It is equipped with TV and coffee maker.
The bathroom is modern, but very cramped, and not properly designed or equipped. Practically no counter space. No towel rack in the bathroom, you can find your towels in the closet across the hall. The toilet paper holder was fancy, but locked, with no toilet paper rolls in it. You can find rolls of toilet paper on top of the water tank. The shower stall was very nice with the rain shower head, but the floor was extremely slippery, especially after you apply soap on your body. No safety grab bar is provided. This could be dangerous, especially for older people. The mirror was placed too high. Children and people with smaller statute will not be able to use it.
All in all, the property is nice the room can be improved, especially the bathroom.

Séjour au lac bouchette
Bel endroit. Coin cuisine correct. Matelas sale pour le lit pliant. Des trous dans les draps et couvertures. Bien pour la visite du lac St Jean, du musée amérindien, du village de Val-Jalbert. Activités payantes. Chemin de randonnée fermé.

Calme et paisible, mais matelas inconfortable
L’endroit est calme et reposant. Les matelas manquent d’épaisseur, une chance nous avions une chambre avec 2 lits, nous avons dû prendre le matelas de l’autre lit pour mettre par dessus l’autre pour être plus confortable. Le repas que nous avons pris au Pub St-Patric était excellent.

Cadre enchanteur,bien dormi il y a tout ce dont nous avions besoin,cependant l'ajout de chaises extérieures serait grandement apprécié,il n'y a qu'un petit banc de bois non confortable,ainsi qu'une table a pique nique serait bienvenue.Un petit coup de balais a l'extérieur ne serait pas néfaste,nous l'avons fait puisqu'il y avait trop de toiles d'araignées,ce qui tenais beaucoup d'autres insectes.Nous avons dû demandé un foyer qui avait disparu depuis ma dernière visite du 9 juin.nous n'avons pu faire d'activité car la plage indiquait pas de baignades,pas de pédalos ni de canoës puisque le quai n'avait pas été installé,ce 😔 que le propriétaire m'a avait affirmé quelques deux semaines auparavant,puisque je l'avait averti que je reviendrais avec mes deux petites filles le weekend du 1 juillet,aucune activité donc nous avons du trouver autre chose a faire.Malgré tout ça félicitation au personnel vous êtes vraiment une super de bonne équipe.

La différence entre le site web et la réalité est criant . Le potentiel est là , mais il reste beaucoup à faire ! Dormir est impossible, le matelas fait genre 5 cm et les draps datent de l ouverture de l auberge , de plus le moindre mouvement de la personne sur le canapé lit provoque des grincements insupportables.Le chalet est partagé en deux par une simple porte et donc bienvenue chez vos voisins . Les sentiers de randonnées vantés sur le site et raison de notre venue sont à l abandon , le marquage est aléatoire et certains passages presque dangereux . Le restaurant est pratique et le personnel accueillant et le lieu reste très beau avec à proximité l ermitage Saint Antoine. Le rapport qualité prix reste acceptable.
