We had an unforgettable stay at Six Senses Maldives. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel so welcomed and cared for. Our GEM -Riq! Our super star of the resort, Riq went above and beyond to take care of every detail of our trip – his attentiveness, thoughtfulness, and genuine care truly made our experience seamless and special. The dining was absolutely world-class. Every meal felt like a Michelin-star experience – from the freshness of the ingredients to the creativity in presentation, we were consistently amazed. The breakfast menu was not just gourmet and healthy, everything we ordered was delicious, the staff there also made personalized experience for us. What really stood out to us, beyond the stunning beauty of the island, was the warmth of the staff. Everyone greeted us with a smile and treated us like family, creating a home-away-from-home feeling that we deeply miss already. Six Senses Maldives is more than just a luxury resort; it’s a place where every detail is curated to perfection and every guest is cared for with heart. We can’t wait to return.

I'm not sure how to properly convey just how incredible Six Senses Laamu is and how unbelievable our holiday was here a couple of weeks ago. We have been fortunate to travel a lot with our young daughters and we have all agreed that SSL is the best place we have ever been and the best holiday we have ever had. There isn't just one thing that makes it the most amazing place. The remote location hosting the most stunning array of wildlife, just a metre off the main restaurant at the house reef for one. Guided by the incredible Marine Biologists of SHELL Joe and Juliet, we saw turtles, reef sharks, sting rays, so many different varieties of fish, completely surrounded. There were spotted eagle rays, fish and reef sharks swimming under our villa at sunset. We went on a Sunset Dolphin Cruise also hosted by the incredible SHELL team and guided by the expert captain Muhammad and were so fortunate to see hundreds of spinner dolphins in what was one of the most unbelievable experiences of my life. Riding around the stunning jungle of the island on personalised bikes, barefoot, seeing lizards, hermit crabs, hearing beautiful birds, was also such a unique and peaceful experience. The day spa is a unique experience of it's own. All I can say is, definitely book yourself in for any treatment to just be in this space, being catered to by their highly skilled staff. You will walk out feeling brand new. If there was one thing that stood out as making it the most incredible holiday I would say all of the people who work here are what take it to another level. To Bruce our GEM, it wouldn't have been the same holiday without you. You not only had all the answers, but all of the kindness. You were amazing, thank you. Having the most creative pancakes delivered by Milan, the best artist on the island to my daughters every morning. All of the incredible meals we ate, often being served by the same thoughtful and kind staff such as Harari, who we all adored. Trying all of the different ice creams, trying to pick a favourite. Ne in the kids club. Nicole, Shane, Teresa, Patto and everyone in the Tropic Surf shack picking the most epic spots to surf every day with their local insights. You were all amazing. Six Senses Laamu was amazing. We will be back soon.

The over water villas are incredible, it feels like a luxurious tree house! I went for my honeymoon and had the best time — from being greeted upon arrival by all the directors and our guest experience manager (we had Bruce!!) to the amazing food serving different cuisine at each restaurant, to the spa and daily activities to the amazing beaches and surfing. We will definitely be coming back and can’t wait to bring our kids here one day. Prices were also very reasonable compared to other luxury resorts

Happy every single minutes. We were lucky to have Sinah as our GEM, he always appeared at the perfect time, answered every question, and made everything feel so seamless. Breakfast was a highlight every day. Big shoutout to Srini who created amazing pancakes. Our villa was spotless. Huge thanks to the housekeeping team who made everything feel crisp, fresh, and perfect each day. And we can’t forget the warm, wonderful team: Shiunee, Naail, Hassan, Lawrence, Joe, and Mayuri you all made us feel truly cared for.

Staying at Laamu was magical! My Gem Abdulla were incredibly friendly and attentive. The overwater villa offered breathtaking ocean views and was spotlessly clean. The food was delicious, and the beach was picture - perfect. Activities like snorkeling added to the fun. A dream vacation!
