Historical charm and character: Many reviews highlighted the hotel’s original 300-year-old farm setting, exposed beams, and rustic decor, creating a unique, nostalgic atmosphere.

Lovely hotel, created on an old farm. Quiet and extremely clean. Great dinners with a gourmet selection and cocktails. Just 300 meters from the closest sky area called Aravet. Thanks, Sara and the crew, since we have been feeling comfortable at home!

My family and I went here multiple times on our trip staying at a different hotel. Bence the bartender made the most amazing Espresso Martini you’ve ever had, Sammi- his rotisserie- I would happily sit next to the fire for the rest of my life as his food was outstanding. A truly rare experience with the very best flavours ive had! Totally worth the trip whilst skiing, hats of to the manager Sarret for running such an amazing place!

Lovely hotel with a few quirks! We really enjoyed it - highlights were the food (we were staying half board) and dinner was exceptional - better than anywhere else we’ve stayed skiing. Downsides were bathrooms are wet room set up so everything is always wet and rooms were rather dark. Breakfast was basic but tasty. But overall for the money - this is a 3 star hotel - we couldn’t have been more impressed.

the hotel is atypical. As its name suggests, an old rehabilitated farm is original. The reception is not given in French, which is annoying for someone who doesn't have much knowledge of English. And the staff makes absolutely no effort! The room is beautiful with beautiful French ceilings. The heating cannot be adjusted in the rooms and works at full capacity, which strikes a balance with the windows where the air passes everywhere, which is a shame for the ecology. The walls of the room seem very thin because you can hear everything that happens in the next room, even in the WC!!! No respect for customers in the corridors where their doors slam and where customers walk with ski boots on the plank floor. This despite the ski room on the ground floor and the ban. Too bad the staff doesn't know how to enforce this...... Average breakfast.

Despite the fact, you might have a slightly treacherous last 50yds up a steep hill with your ski gear, what you find when you step through the door of Vielle Ferme is a historic delight. If you are looking for modern, ski-in/ski-out facilities this is not for you - but if you want to experience a place where parts date back 300 years, this is great. The modern comfort and convenience is all still here - but historical features are in every view - from the cloistered bar and restaurant to the exposed beams in your room - make this a delightful place. And it is the same with Magnus and his team of very friendly, efficient and accommomdating staff. Welcoming throughout our stay, the team was efficient, friendly and adaptable when it came to things like last-minute menu requests. We stayed half-board, and with two-hour windows in the morning and evening, meal-times were a relaxing treat. There was a wide range of food available in the morning, to get you ready for the slopes, from porridge to cold cuts and bacon and egg, along with great tea and coffee. When it came to the three-course evening meals, the attention to detail in what was offered and the way it was presented was fabulous - there wasn't a dish that had not been prepared with care and the waiting staff delivered them all with a friendly relaxed charm. With only a five-minute walk to the Aravet ski lift, you can quickly get out and onto the great pistes of Serre Chevalier with ease. This is a great place to stay.

A very charming, well-run hotel in the cuter side of the village opposite Villeneuve lifts. Clean, friendly, affordable, stylish, and comfortable. The restaurant is an extra special bonus…we haven’t been bothered to leave because it’s twice as cute as anything on the same street.
