Véritable coup de cœur pour cet hôtel insolite et original. De passage à La Rochelle pour la nuit et voulant profiter de la ville, nous avons réservé à « la fabrique » . Très bonne décision : situation centrale à deux pas du port , accueil chaleureux , chambre spacieuse , moderne ; petit dejeuner complet . Rapport qualité/prix imbatable . Équipe bienveillante . Nous reviendrons .

Pour quelques jours à La Rochelle pour le festival du film. La Fabrique est un très bon établissement. Bien placé, personnel sympathique, chambre agréable et bien équipée, propre et à un prix raisonnable. Le décor vaut le détour ( ancienne chapelle puis fabrique de cordage) Merci encore.

This hotel was converted from the shell of an old chapel and it has an industrial feel. My room was on the first floor which had high up narrow windows which faced the Ibis hotel opposite. Needed to keep the net curtains shut for privacy. (The second floor has the arch windows which are frosted, I believe). The bathroom doesn’t have a door – there’s just a space that leads from the bedroom round into the bathroom so if you are sharing the room, you can hear everything! The layout and the high windows mean that if you turn on the bathroom light at night, you would need to ensure the curtains are fully drawn so the room is opposite can’t see Into your shower/toilet! Room was a good size, very comfy bed, good Aircon, kettle but no fridge. The TV just had French channels – I was hoping for at least one English news station. Easily walkable from the train station and only a couple of minutes to the quay side/Old Port where all the restaurants are. Look out for the white Ferris wheel and hotel is very close by. Good value for money and would definitely stay here again for the location.

I was on the first floor and had high narrow windows which faced the Ibis hotel opposite. You need to keep the net curtains shut for privacy. Très bien situé au calme. Chambre un peu petite mais très propre. Excellente literie. Petit déjeuner très bien également. Un grand merci à Liam pour sa gentillesse et ses bons conseils de restaurants. Nous étions 7 et tout le monde a apprécié cet hôtel
