We've been visiting here for years to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, etc. The property is beautiful. We love visiting the adult pool and the restaurants on property are awesome. It's the desert, so bugs/critters can be an issue, but each time we've had that experience (ants being the worse) it's addressed by the staff very swiftly. Our favorite room type is the Casita near the adult pool, or the starlight room when we have our kids. My only gripe is how high the rates have risen in the last 15 years. But it makes sense for what you get.

I had the chance to stay at La Quinta Resort for just one night while visiting a friend who was there on business—but it was enough to leave a great impression! I would absolutely return, either with family or for a relaxing girls’ trip. The resort is huge and beautifully designed. It almost feels like its own little village, with a variety of room styles—casitas, townhomes, and condo-style accommodations that reminded me a bit of the nearby Legacy Villas. Unfortunately, we did encounter a disturbing incident at one of the pools (which I won’t go into for privacy reasons), but I have to say, the way management, hotel staff, and security handled it was outstanding. They responded immediately, made sure we felt safe, and even moved our room to ensure our comfort. Their quick action and professionalism made a big difference. Aside from that, everything about our stay was wonderful—the pool areas were clean and relaxing, the room was cozy and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. I’m looking forward to coming back for a longer stay!

We had a great stay. The pool and the amenities were great. We didn't use the restaurant or the spa. I gave 3 stars because they run a lawnmower under our windows at 0630 in the morning which had ruined the sleep of my family.

My parents recently stayed at La Quinta Resort, and I can’t thank the team enough for the truly unforgettable experience they had. From the moment they arrived, every detail was so thoughtfully curated. The upgrade, welcome wine, handwritten card, and desserts all made their stay incredibly special. They left feeling refreshed, pampered, and so grateful, and as a hotelier myself, that means the world to me. It was deeply rewarding to see how cared for they felt. They absolutely loved the resort, especially the beautifully maintained grounds and the newly refreshed adult pool, which they described as fun and relaxing. Their spa experience was also outstanding. They raved about how welcoming and attentive the team was. They shared a photo with me that truly touched them (and me). It was a small moment, but full of heart, a reminder of how impactful thoughtful guest experiences can be. Thank you again to the entire team for making their stay so memorable. They had nothing but amazing things to say — and I wholeheartedly.

We stayed here for 4 nights recently and went in with fairly low expectations. Based on reviews we were expecting a dated property, and somewhat subpar rooms. We booked a private patio king room and it was absolutely great. There was an ice cold refrigerator in the room which was restocked with water by housekeeping daily. The room was very clean, stylish, and had a comfortable bed. The staff were all great for the most part. And the overall property was outstanding and beautiful. You may have to wander to find the right pool if that is your thing, as you will find many that are inundated with kids and inattentive parents, but there are plenty of pools to choose from. The cons: we got locked out of our room multiple times because the digital door lock overheats in the sun so we had to wait for security to show up to pour water on it - frankly not acceptable to wait outside in triple digit heat, and a regular problem according to security - figure it out La Quinta. And all of the restaurants and room service were great except Morgan’s - overpriced, bad food, terrible presentation, horrific cocktails, bad service with servers that don’t want to be there. Never eat here. Go to the Mexican restaurant instead, far better and cheaper or head to off property for dinner.

I have been coming here for many years . This resort has lost its luster or maybe in summer they just don’t care. Staff at front desk was useless. He gave us the wrong room number and wrong location. He could hardly speak. He gave us no information about the resort. Our room was clean, but sparse, stained carpets. The door to our room had a wide gap when closed so bugs kept flying in. The pool was covered with dead bugs. The QR code on the tv that was supposed to take you to resort info did not work. Restaurant service was good but food is way over priced. I will not come back

Sprawling resort with lots of pools. Hard to navigate at first but by the time I left I had the gist of it. Staff friendly and accommodative. Room was large and clean but I had a constant machine noise making it difficult to sleep. Spa was lovely but wish it had more amenities. Wondering if I was there off-season because it seemed like there was slimmed down service in certain areas like the pool and pool bars.
