This is my favorite hotel that I have ever been to. If you go here try to stay in the vintage Casitas. I was lucky enough to stay here many years ago. And in the intervening time since my first day in the 80s the hotel has only improved. You can’t say that about many places today. The natural landscaping and quiet environment was key to my enjoyment of this treasure of the desert.

Palm trees were flowering and there was palm tree bits and debris absolutely everywhere, on the ground, in the pool and being carried into the room and our car on our feet..The pool infront of our casita was gross, green and murky. Check in was delayed by them. But the room was ok and the Mexican restaurant was fantastic. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Checked in gave a room number went there already occupied went back to the check in gave us another room (100 degrees out) Finally got to the room NO outside sitting area view, really noisy next to the service area could hear them at 12 at night. 2 thumbs down

Love this place and have stayed here for many years.
A couple of things should be addressed; we had mosquitos biting us the whole time (they were coming in through the drains in the bathroom). I think the A/C filters could use a cleaning causing lots of coughing whilst in the room. Other than that, great friendly service by ALL the staff!!! We'll be back for sure!
