Overall an OK experience but I won’t be revisiting. We are a group of 10 people. We booked through TUI Holidays and Love Holidays. Upon arrival we were met with major construction work along the entire promenade of La Pineda. The gravel piles are huge all along the walkway, meaning you cannot see the sea. We were only advised of this construction work one week prior to departure, however it looks like it has been ongoing for some time and it won’t be complete for a long time yet. It was underwhelming to say the least, any time spent in local bars/restaurants was us staring a giant gravel pits and construction machinery. I had a one bedroom apartment ( Block 7), my sister took a two bedroom apartment ( Block 4) and my parents stayed in Hotel 1 ( Silmar ) Through TUI I was assigned to Block 7. The apartments are ok, pretty dated and the buildings are in need of some upkeep and painting. There are no lifts so we carried our baggage up and down two flights of steep stairs. The facilities in the apartment are basic and it certainly lacks comfort. Beds are uncomfortable. However, garden area is beautifully maintained and the pool area is quite nice. There is very little shaded areas with only 6 umbrellas and sun beds are in need of replacing and most of them are quite worn through offering little support. Cleaning staff were friendly and came daily. I gather the majority of the apartments in Block 7 were privately owned so it certainly had a nice enough feel to the place. My sister was assigned to Block 4 and she booked through Love Holidays. Buildings and gardens here are in a very bad state of disrepair. It seems they haven’t been painted in a long time, appearing very dirty on the outside. The gardens were not kept. However, there is plenty of shaded areas around the pool here and the sunbeds were much better than block 7. My sister’s apartment here was again very basic and did have a bad smell coming from the drains. Lifeguards were on duty daily, however no floaties or ball games are allowed in the pool. It is as strict as the reviews say. The Hotel Silmar ( Hotel 1 ) is very dated. My parents were happy enough with the room here, it was clean but it needs updating. We all had an All Inclusive package which means we ate our meals in Hotel 1. The buffet restaurant was good. We had no complaints. We enjoyed some nice breakfast, lunches and dinners here. It does get very busy though with people queuing to get in. There is a good variety of food and it didn’t feel too repetitive, although we did eat out a few times in the local towns. The snack bar was nice also, offering burgers, hotdogs, nuggets and chips aswell as snacks and fruit. Entertainment runs on a seven day programme, so if like us you are there for 2 weeks, you might have to rewatch the same shows. Bar area is very dated and drab. Pools at the Hotel 1 and 2 is very small and gets very crowded. Hotel 2 ( Almaris) is also available to use. This hotel is much nicer and has had a recent

On arrival we were a couple of hours early for the 5pm check in but they allowed us to check in immediately which was fantastic. The complex is large with different hotels/ apartments all under the same brand. We got vague directions to our apartment which was a short walk from the reception. The apartments are not clearly numbered so it was difficult to find. The apartment was up two flights of steep stairs with no lift so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues as it was challenging getting cases up and down. The apartment was spacious and clean but a little tired. The balcony was good, it had a table, chairs and an adjustable awning. The only thing that would have improved this would have been loungers. The bedroom was supposed to be a twin but it was a double bed. We therefore used the pullout bed from under the couch. There was no kettle or iron but there was a coffee maker, fridge freezer, microwave, an oven and hob and a washing machine. There was also a hairdryer in the bathroom. There was a limited but lovely view of the sea from the bedroom. There were mosquito plugs in living room and bedroom but they did not make much difference. It would be advisable to take mosquito repellent. A key was needed for the safe which you pay a €10 deposit for at reception. There are a few pools around and one was near us and it was nice and quiet with lots of loungers and shade. It is close to the beach, a small supermarket and a few other shops. The promenade at the beach is getting work done and is a mess at present, we were aware of this when we booked but it does worsen the atmosphere. As we were half board we went to the main building for breakfast and dinner. The walk is past the main pool area which was slippery as they washed this every morning at breakfast time. The food was average. There was always a good amount of choice for breakfast but the cooked items were often cool/ cold. Dinner varied but usually something to eat. The dining room could be very busy. The time for dinner is 7.30pm-10pm which is quite late so there was usually a queue formed before it opened. On our last full day staff started working on one of the apartments within our building so there was drilling and banging all day starting early in the morning. The stairs were covered in concrete dust and it was impossible to relax. It would have been helpful for them to postpone this until the block was empty as it detracted from enjoying our last day. Overall I enjoyed my holiday and did not have any major complaints however I do not think I would return at least not until all the building work at the beach is completed.

Very disappointing experience on this occasion. Having holidayed here many times before , it was our first time booking an apartment .I had emailed the hotel requesting either ground floor access or lift access .We were checked in to a top floor apartment which has an open steep stairwell serving the 6 units .Totally unsuitable for us . Basically it took the rest of our first day getting another apartment sorted .This hotel was always our favourite and the only place we ever stayed in Costa Dorada .The main attraction for us was the beachfront location . Day 2 was a shock for us to walk out of the complex to the promenade , which is now a construction site .I googled it to find out that there are major upgrades ongoing for 2025/2026 . Certainly not a beach holiday spot . The buffet was disappointing ,It was poor in quality and lukewarm at best .. The best points for the Estiville park hotel are the lovely friendly staff and the cleanliness .

Arrived at 00:30 in the morning and was dropped at a bus stop (by transfer company). Finally found the right hotel and then had to walk the long way round to the apartment. Room was clean, beds were comfy. Breakfast, dinner and tea were amazing. Lots of choices for all the family. Everything was clean even the pools. The all inclusive bar was great. Open from 10am till 23:30pm. Only issue was the toilet in the room. Once flushed it took a very long time to fill so it could be flushed again. Rules around the pool are greatly enforced by the lifeguards. Plenty of loungers and plenty of pools to choose from. Would recommend all inclusive. Definitely would come back

2 star at best, rough, smacked by breaking apartment. nearly everything is closed around the area nearby. Gutted. It's run down, dated, really rough. I've just been hit by falling door surround inside our apartment on entry. Upset we've come here to be honest. Literally gutted. Hardly any staff to help. Apartment check-in is 5pm!! But we got told to come back at 2pm as should be ready and was. My advice, go anywhere in Turkey on a 3 star plus holiday it'll blow your mind. This is shocking.

Went to this hotel with mixed feelings as some good and some bad reviews. This is an absolutely horrendous hotel. The staff are rude, ignorant and arrogant. Hotel grubby and outdated. This is definitely not a 4 star. 2 star would be kind. Supposed to be all inclusive. You have to pay for a kettle, iron, safe and you have to pay 10 euro to use rooftop pool and you are allowed one free drink even though we were AI. Cocktails are 2 euro. The food was always stone cold. Went different times for breakfast but was always stone cold. Had enough so ate out at The Waterfront irish pub. Had dinner in there 5 times lovely food. Went to rooftop pool once to see what it was like. Bit stupid as all sunbeds facing opposite way to the sun. When we left my husband went to lift the barrier to let us out and the bar woman shouted "Oi" how rude. Squash/water machine empty for 4 days. Rooms were not cleaned properly. We spilt coffee on our table and the spill mark was still there on our last day. Toilet has filthy wee stain all around the bottom making it smell. Only good thing was 4 x 4 we went on with a driver called James. Lovely young lad. We were so glad when our holiday was over. Never will we return to Spain as they are all rude. Ok they don't like English tourists well don't take our money then.
