Olas de Cerritos

We loved our time here at Olas!!! Our rooms were very spacious and very comfortable. One of them had a small kitchenette and both had fridges. It was very quiet and peaceful! The staff were friendly and helpful although not all could speak English there was always someone around who could speak English. The breakfast that was included was awesome and always included 3 choices. We were about 5 minutes from the beach and lots of great restaurants! Loved our time here and will plan to return.

Our favorite place in Los Cerritos!! My husband and I had the opportunity to stay at Olas for 2 weeks, but we could have stayed even longer! Breakfast (included!) is sooo tasty - they always had at least one American & one Mexican dish available, cooked to order. The rooms are clean, the bed is super comfy, and the pool is really lovely. Because it’s a small hotel, it’s very quiet & peaceful. We actually got to know a few of the people staying at the hotel at the same time which was fun. Beyond that, location is key👌🏼Short walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, etc. Having complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, & other gear was also key - we didn’t have to pay beach vendors. I can see why they have so many repeat visitors🙂

We had a really nice stay here. We love coming to this area often and usually stay at different spots. Pros: -Super quiet -Easy to find -Free, secured parking -Free breakfast with vegan options for us -Comfortable bed -2 Minute walk to the beach; towels, beach chairs & umbrellas to use for free -Heated pool and hot tub -Friendly staff -Only 8 Rooms so it's private and relaxing Cons: -No hair conditioner so bring some if you need it! (We asked for some, too) -Our shower had no pressure, it trickled out and took us super long to shower -The hot water was hit or miss; it would be hot for a minute then get super cold over & over -No view from upstairs; we booked the balcony room "with a view" and it is a shared balcony and we had a view of the building in front of us. Not a big deal but bummer. -Not the greatest curtains for keeping out light so we were up with the sun -Construction close by so it might be noisy during the day Overall it was a very nice place to stay. We will most likely stay here again on one of our many future trips.
