UY Proa Sur Hotel

The attention is excellent. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help with whatever guests need. The room has a minibar and electric jug. The bed is comfortable and the view very pleasant. In our case, we were on the third floor and you could see the sea in the distance, creating a pleasant landscape. Breakfast is good, buffet style. It mainly consists of traditional Uruguayan biscuits (croissant, bread with fat, margarita), breads (biscuit, mignon, bread with seeds and white bread for toasting), a couple of simple cakes (I found the orange one delicious), orange juice , orange juice with carrot, coffee, milk and tea. The negative thing about breakfast is that they do not have scrambled eggs or omelets and the juices are the type that comes packaged, therefore, already sweetened. The heated pool is fantastic for relaxing although its size is somewhat small. Currently (August 2023), the hotel policy allows up to eight people at the same time and the hours of use are from 9:00 in the morning until 1:30 in the morning, which is a big plus. In short, a highly recommended experience at any time of the year.

Good experience. Excellent attention from the staff. Good quality breakfast. I must say that the hotel lacks an agionamiento. The blackout in our bedroom was broken and the light woke us up very early. Parking is not enough for all customers and the priority system does not seem adequate to me.
