It is far away from other cities, and without transportation, it will become complex. Facilities need to be reformed.

Just back yesterday from a lovely stay in Origo Mare with my family of 6. My children wished they could stay longer. The food was fantastic, lots of choice and our son has a peanut allergy which I was very worried about before we came away but the staff took it very seriously and made the manager even went out of her way to make sure my son had some alternative biscuits so he didn't feel left out because he couldn't have some of the desserts. The staff are fantastic here in all areas and nothing was too much trouble. My children loved the pools and they all have lifeguards. When we arrived we were surprised how it felt that it was kind of like it's own town although we liked this as made it different from any other holidays we had been on before. Our accommodation was lovely, like a house which had a garden with a 6 seater table out the front, plus upstairs there was a balcony from the bedroom with beautiful views...the place is cut off from local shops ect but we liked that it is different and the place has all the amenities on site such as a supermarket, gym, go cart hire, bike hire, car hire and more plus there is a free coach to neighbouring Corrolejo which took about 20 minutes. We went here twice and enjoyed the beautiful market, shops and beaches. We also took a coach which can be arranged at reception (5€ per person) from Orego mare to Oasis park zoo which was amazing. One suggestion would be to have an area or a screen or something in reception with some information about the area. I think alot of people don't realise that your logo represents a lava bubble. It would be helpful to have some information about how the island was created etc also how the plants etc are grown and the importance of the ash. I also think people would take water wasting etc more seriously if they had more of an understanding. Water park ok, wave pool is a fine example of poetic licence! Very poor. Daytime snacks poor, 1 swimming pool open for hotel guests, no food or drink available around pool, can get overcrowded. Food ok if your expectations are low, queues are long, If you want a decent drink you will have to pay for one! The included spirits gave us a sore throat! Accommodation good. Overall clean. Genuinely felt the entertainment complex was to small for size of resort. 3 star.

Just got back free from a weeks stay all inclusive, no complaints we really enjoyed our stay food was standard all inclusive and nice enough the old were the best part ! We’ve just booked again for next year. Transfer took around 2 hours so would definitely recommend getting a taxi instead as much faster and spoke to a group who said only cost about £60 euros

Arrived here on the 8th of October for a week. Me and my wife have been 3 times before as a couple but for this our 4th time we brought my grown up daughter and her 2 small children (aged 3 and 1) And although it being a completely different experience with the little ones in tow I think it was even better. The children had smiles on their faces the whole week. And my 3 year old granddaughter kept on asking if "we could stay a few more weeks" and since being home is asking when we can go again. They loved the kiddies splash park and the games the team arranged for the little ones. They loved the mini disco, the space they had outside our apartments (401) and altho my granddaughter is a fussy eater she ate at the all inclusive buffet without any issue and always found something she liked and even tried and liked a few different foods. My daughters bitlrthday was on the 12th and I spoke to reception and asked for a cake to be made by the chefs which I seen on a leaflet that you could buy. They arranged for it to be brought out when we went for lunch on her birthday and when we got there they had reserved a table for us and decorated it with gold foil confetti it looked so cute. They brought the cake which was beautiful out and the staff sang happy birthday with us, it was really lovely. When we got back to our accommodation there was a leaflet that had been put through our door and when we translated it realised it was to wish my daughter a happy birthday and offer her a premium cocktail or free game of mini golf, obviously she chose the cocktail and we thought that was such a lovely gesture. All staff were amazing and went above and beyond all week especially the guys at the bar. Was lovely to see and speak to Alex on our last day too such a lovely guy. We'll no doubt see you all again next year. Thankyou again for an amazing week x

Reception were very accommodating to our requests prior to arrival. On arrival Cat checked us all In but also let us go Eat as we had just arrived and lunch was nearly finished. Food options- weren’t bad - I’m A fussy eater so I did eat more or less the same Thing every day…. But for those willing to try something there is always a great selection of Food. Pool Bar - tea, coffee, cold drinks all Available all day…. Food at pool Bar -pizza and hot dogs you pay for separately but there is sandwiches(you just need to ask As they are in the fridge) crisps, nuts and ice cream available all day. Crater Park on site was good fun for all Ages, no Issues getting sun-beds etc maybe not always ones with parasols but still No issues - Our villa felt like it as furthest away from the reception which wasn’t ideal with young kids and Mil with walking difficulties but it wasn’t the end of the world (10/15 min walk) ideally some Daisy bikes For hire for the week would Have been great! Or electric buggies of some sort- although again rec gave us a lift down with our bags and picked us up on the way back with them So again super helpful. When we did have issues we called rec and it was fixed straight away…. All The team were super friendly from bar staff, housekeeping, maintenance, gardeners etc etc (apart from one lady in restaurant who was snappy with us when we moved a table so all 9of us could Sit together - she said we weren’t allowed to do that even though we had done the last 6 days) just her attitude was a bit off there are nicer ways to be with guests. But a special shout out to Cat who was superb at her job - she remembered us(hopefully not for bad reasons haha) when we decided to get a private transfer for the way back to airport she sorted that out for us with no issues- feel like she went above and beyond for us and was always smiling. A credit to your team! Thank you again Cat for going that extra mile.

Can't fault the place ideal for families with small kids Was thayre for a week all inclusive and ma boys loved it food was a hit and a miss was OK the boys loved the kids corner and the kids club the we shop is a bit expensive but thayre a free shuttle bus twice a day into town with a large variety of shops and supermarkets Av read all the bad reviews about this hotel the rooms were perfect that caters for self catering Al staff were brilliant especially the bar staff The entertainment for the kids at night was good the mini disco the boys loved the disco So ignore the bad comments u read go and visit the place and see for yourself That's the last 2 years me and my family have been and wev already booked up for next year See use next year origo mare 👌👍🏻

After reading reviews after booking, I was quite worried about our choice of holiday. We kept an open mind and can honestly say that this holiday was one of our favourites. We hired a car as we like to go on adventures, but we spent a lot more time lying on the pool sunbeds than we expected to. We were self catering so did a shop at Lidl in Correlejo and went out for our evening meals. Our 8 year old loved the waterpark at the hotel and we spent a few hours each day there. The villa had everything we needed and the bed was comfy, we had a 2 bedroom and the addition of the washing machine was really useful. One thing I would say is that even if you are All Inclusive, you would probably still need a car, as it is extremely remote and whilst it is a lovely place to stay, most of the beaches are too far to walk to and there isn't an awful lot to do in the area.
