La-ngu Hotels with Wi-Fi

Terrible reception staff. We made a reservation for a double room (confirmed) and upon arrival it had two single beds and no possibility of changing rooms. Also, the room smelled especially bad (like sweat). The terrace door does not close properly and mosquitoes enter. Right in front we had construction work because they are expanding the hotel. At night in the building under construction a group of Asians had karaoke, you could hear everything perfectly from the room. Considering that people come here to rest, the last thing they want to encounter is construction noise and disturbances until late hours. Terrible breakfast and for a change, in the building under construction. They have a coffee stand at the entrance since the buffet only has sachet coffee. If you want a proper coffee, you have to pay for it. There is hardly any fruit and bread, only pad Thai type food, curry, rice... I understand that we are in Thailand but it wouldn't hurt to have variety and not close to that type of food. Absolutely no sweet products, not even a sad croissant. Not to mention that the table where the juices were was full of ants. To make matters worse, while we are having breakfast, two men offer us to buy cashews and t-shirts. I do not recommend this hotel at all because of the staff (except for a couple of workers who were super nice), facilities and atmosphere and breakfast. Even if you spend the day in Pak Bara to go to Koh Lipe like us, you will most likely have a better option to stay.

Overall was nice. Came in late so just a place to sleep. The beach is not for swimming as mostly big boulders. But the pool is super warm and super nice with lots of outside seating in the shade or in the sun. The room was huge and comfortable but the curtains didn't block the light enough for me as I'm use to blackout curtains and some noise from the street and hallways. The breakfast was gigantic buffet and very good. Even for western taste. Lots of fruit options and cereals, eggs, toast. Plus local food. Parking was good.

I was impressed with the hotel the rooms are very big with a nice balcony the staff were really helpful. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast which isn’t normally to my taste in first thing in the morning but there’s a lot of things to choose from most freshly prepared. I also had a nice evening meal at the hotel which they cooked fresh for me I would definitely recommend. Nearby massage place was excellent as well and good value for being attached to hotel.

First, remember this isn't a luxury hotel so my review is not holding this place to those standards! The staff was so kind, helpful and friendly. They were welcoming and communicative and that makes a big difference. It's cute little pink bungalows around a little pond. The rooms were very clean and in good shape, remember though, this is a Thai hotel not a luxury resort. The beds were hard, as most Thai beds are but we had a good nights rest here. Linens clean and provided all we needed. Good a/c, bottled water. Bathrooms are like camping, but do the trick! We were impressed by how clean and well kept the rooms and property was. It's very close to the pier, a couple minutes walk, which made our exit easy! You can also walk maybe 10-15 minutes down the road for places to eat. Also, you'll hear morning prayers around 5 am! We were pleasantly surprised by our stay here!

For budget hotel, this hotel considered worth the money. The room is quite old, toilet is quite smelly. But consider okay for a budget hotel. The location is far from shops, need to drive if you want to find food.

The room was super clean and very romantic. Every morning you see the sunrise directly from the room. I stayed 7 next. The resort is located directly at Mu Ko Phetra National Park, The Time Travel Zone. I jogged in the park every morning. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. I arrived without car, but the son of the owner and the indigenous people have driven me every day. You can book different tour directly from the resort. Arrived on 30 sep after a long drive from Singapore. For the price, im very pleased. It is very spanking clean. A small establishment, worth to support them. My review may also be skewered coz i think the owners are cat lovers haha so If you love cats come and support them! We were able to park our car securely in their premises (gates closed in the evening). Simple, but near to various shops, eatery, a great massage place and 5min walk frm the pier for those heading to Koh Lipe. This is not a fancy hotel, but really a good choice for short stays and proximity to many places. Also near to the view point and beach!
