Service impeccable, mets de qualité, c'est assez luxe pour la région. Nous n'avons pas testé l hôtel. Prix du restaurant on vu ce qui était servi mais cela reste onéreux. Carte des vins limitée sur les vins US. Terrasse chauffée appréciable quand la météo n'est pas bonne

Magnifique restaurant,nous avons pris la table d’hôte 5 services et du premier au dernier service tout était succulent.Nous sommes de la rive sud de Montréal et nous serions prêts à faire cinq heures de voiture pour revenir à ce restaurant.Bravo et un merci particulier à notre serveur François d’une extrême gentillesse.Sylvie et Michel 😊

The inn is beautiful with updated rooms. It was clean, quiet, comfortable with a perfect mattress and thick towels. The price for the inn was a bargain for the area. The location is also great- on a side road with the St Lawrence River across the street. The real jewel of the inn, however, is the restaurant. Even if you don't stay at the inn, you should treat yourself to dinner or breakfast here. My husband and I had the fixed price 7 course dinner and breakfast, and both meals were incredible. This is the sort of inn that is worth making a return trip to.

Le nec plus ultra! Tant pour le restaurant que pour l'hébergement! La table du soir est une expérience en soi, les déjeuners plus copieux les uns que les autres! Et que dire des chambres! De toute beauté, confortables et d'une propreté exemplaire!

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour à l’Auberge Truchon. Nous avons commencé par la table d’hôte : repas copieux, excellent du début à la fin. Les produits utilisés sont de grande qualité (et locaux). Notre serveuse était très agréable et professionnelle (a la hauteur d’un restaurant gastronomique). La chambre etait également très belle, propreté irréprochable. Le brunch du dimanche est très qualitatif aussi. Je félicite ainsi toute l’équipe de l’auberge Truchon.

Nous sommes des habitués depuis plusieurs années de cette belle auberge offrant une gastronomie régionale exceptionnelle. Nous aimons beaucoup ses plats de canard et d'agneau. Nous apprécions également l'accueil de son personnel des plus chaleureux ainsi que sa cave à vin digne de mention. Mention spéciale aussi pour ses chambres spacieuses et confortables offrant vue sur le fleuve (# 202 et 203).

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre expérience gastronomique chez Truchon. Toutefois, c'était un peu froid sur la terrasse et nous aurions aimé être à l'intérieur. De plus, le serveur manqué un peu d'authenticité et semblait un peu théâtral. Par contre, il a offert un service impeccable. We were fortunate to choose this boutique heritage hotel just outside La Malbaie centre.It has been modernised in an elegant way,There is a financial incentive to reserve directly with the hotel rather than through a third party. We chose a standard room on third floor - sloping roof and dormer window - small but very cosy yet reasonably priced for what was a two night stay where we would be absent during the day. .Importantly the mattress pillows and bedlinen were of high quality.There was a coffee machine. The only drawback there was no lift. The breakfast was very reasonably priced CAN$17 per person for a sumptuous and generous breakfast.With a forfait you paid the same price for an exceptional Sunday brunch

Excellente nourriture tel que boudin en entrée, fois gras et planchette de diverses viandes ensuite potage et trou normand super glace puis l'agneau très bon, saumon apprêté ordinaire comme chez nous quant à la côte de veau la pièce servie était un peu tiraillée malheureusement et une partie était saignante rouge alors qu'on avait demandé rosé. Par contre on nous a offert de deduire le montant extra 15$ pour le veau ainsi que la gratuité d'un cocktail. Quant au service il fut exceptionnel !! Merci
