This is the best place in La Fortuna, wonderful hotel, location, rooms, staff.
Just an incredible garden-forest near the river, with many animals, birds and plants.
Highly recommended.

a return visit as it is our favourite of three hotels we have stayed in over the years in fortuna. just a couple of blocks from all that the downtown centre offers, the quiet location on the river and the grounds make it an easy choice. The rooms are nice but the real charm is the habitat provided by its location on the river bend. The river, trees and flowers bring in a lot of birds and an overnight stay by a sloth! The grounds keepers were quick to point it out to me, as well as the toucan that patrols the stream. A couple of blocks walk and there are restaurants with live music etc.
