The staff here are great. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our initial room and Dani worked very quickly to get us set up in a different one. The grounds are kept in beautiful shape and the view of the volcano, when it is out, is marvelous. It is great waking up to sounds of the birds, frogs and insects. Unfortunately, there is construction going on close by and apparent they start at 6:00 the morning. Breakfast is very nice. Fruit, gallo pinto, eggs to order ( you may have to ask) cereal, pancakes, etc. The rooms/tents have good potential, nice flooring, comfy beds, private decks and the a/c units work well. But there’s quite a lot of room for improvement. I get that you have to not eat in the room because of potential ants pest, etc. However, it doesn’t make any sense to not have some sort of food locker in your room and allow you to eat on your deck or something so that there’s a way to have snacks or whatever in your room. At this point, for the standard tents, you have to put any food you have in their little communal refrigerator by the breakfast area and walk down there to eat anything. They also want you to wear a wrist band 24 /7 for “breakfast and security”. So you walk around town clearly identifying as a tourist? And we went canyoning. I’m not going to wear a band while we’re rappelling. No one noticed when we removed our bands. The superior tents are a good step up from the standard tents. They have a small personal fridge and are roomier with better showers. But there are still issues that should be addressed: Only two pillows on beds; No shelf in shower for toiletries like conditioner your own shampoo etc.; room safe is in a very inconvenient location. You have to get on hands and knees on wood floor and it is hard to see the panel; no Kleenex; could use hooks near shower to hang towels/robes, and a corner shelf in bathroom as now only a narrow two level shelf right above toilet. Anyone ever knocked something of a shelf into the toilet?; no hot water in the bathroom sink; in the living area they really need a few shelves or drawers.there is almost no place to unpack. So you have to live out of a suitcase and there’s only one suitcase stand; only one bedside lamp for two beds. It feels like whoever designed the space never tried staying in the room for a few nights. Overall we just did not find the rooms comfortable for a multiple night stay.

I stayed in a standard tent at Arenal Glamping for 2 nights with my stepdaughter, her partner and their baby daughter. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The AC was great and I loved the private deck on which to do my yoga each morning although there is also a communal yoga platform where I believe it is possible to take a private class. Breakfast was varied, plentiful and delicious though a few more fly covers over the food would be appreciated. The staff really make the place so special. They were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I took advantage of the massage service which was excellent - one of the best massages I have ever had. I slept like a baby in the comfortable bed with the sounds of the jungle lulling me to sleep. The pool and surrounding relaxation area are beautifully landscaped, clean and quiet. I would definitely return if I was in the area again.

We had an amazing stay at Arenal Glamping in our family tent and I can't recommend it enough. The staff was incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating and went above and beyond - ordering take out meals, bringing extra chairs for the balcony, etc. The tents were very cute and comfortable, the grounds were immaculate, and it was so peaceful and beautiful. We loved the complimentary breakfast each morning which was delicious and the staff was so kind and friendly. We also enjoyed the pool area and didn't use the firepit but thought it was a nice touch. It was rainy/overcast most of our stay, so we didn't get to see much of the volcano, but that's a risk you take with nature and it didn't impact our enjoyment at all. The location was great and we enjoyed venturing into La Fortuna and booking nearby activities. I hope to return here someday and highly recommend Arenal Glamping!

I do not take writing negative reviews lightly, but I believe it’s important for future guests to be fully informed. During our stay at Arenal Glamping, an electronic device was stolen from our room. This was a deeply disappointing experience, and unfortunately, it significantly impacted what would have otherwise been a very pleasant stay here. We followed the proper steps, including reporting the incident to hotel management and contacted our ground handler and the local Costa Rican authorities. While I understand that incidents like this can occur anywhere, I was disappointed by the way in which the situation was handled, particularly when the staff tried to indicate that we had lost/misplaced it elsewhere when this was 100% inaccurate and we proved this point to them. The site itself was amazing and we loved our stay here, but safety and peace of mind are fundamental. I sincerely hope the management takes this issue seriously and implements stronger security protocols to protect future guests. Again, I share this not out of malice, but out of a sense of responsibility to inform others and to hopefully prompt necessary changes.

Arenal Glamping was absolutely amazing. We had romantic and comfortable accommodations, delicious food, a relaxing pool, wildlife everywhere (we saw a red dart tree frog by the creek!), a short walk to everything in La Fortuna, and an unbelievable view of Arenal Volcano. Huge thanks to all the staff - Arenal Glamping has the best team from the grounds crew, kitchen staff, housekeeping, and reception. Special shoutout to reception, particularly Daniella and Diana, for helping us coordinate our rides, food, and activities. They even took time to get to know us and practice Spanish with us! We felt completely welcomed and supported in having the vacation of a lifetime. If you have a chance to go to Arenal Glamping, don't miss it!!

This is such a magical place - we were so surprised when we arrived at how beautiful the setting was and how lovely the facilities were. Not something we were expecting for a glamping site. The breakfast truly was the best breakfast that we had during our two week stay in Costa Rica - simple but so fresh and delicious. The staff were wonderful - we wish that we could’ve spent more time here. Would highly recommend.

The place is very pleasant, but yes there is a but the room does not have any closet and under the bed sheet there was a plastic mattress pad, which does not make sleeping easy. The breakfast is perfect and the hostesses are very helpful.
