This is a hotel I will stay in again. I like it very much. The environment is beautiful. You can see the Arenal volcano from the room. The scenery is picturesque. The service attitude is very good, and there are free welcome drinks. The breakfast is very delicious. Unfortunately, the time is a bit rushed and I only stayed for one night.

The staff were all great, especially all the restaurant staff. I especially appreciated the hotel making special arrangements to celebrate my birthday. However, some of the shortfalls included the very slow and inconsistent WIFI at our building (500), the bathroom door couldn’t be kept closed, and the in room jacuzzi never got hot. But on the positive note, the in room AC was very good, the room, bathroom and shower were spacious and had hot water.
P.S. I was underwhelmed by my undercooked tomahawk during dinner.

It was still rainy season, so it was raining and cloudy, so the weather was disappointing, but when it's sunny it's definitely a nice place.
The service was attentive, and the restaurants were cheaper than in the United States, so I was very satisfied.

My family had an amazing time at this resort, the staff was absolutely incredible!! We loved Melvin, who made sure to learn all of our names and treated us amazing. The whole staff really is incredible. The resort itself is stunning, there’s amazing views everywhere. The spa is also incredible, my sister, stepmom, and I all got massages and LOVED it. We haven’t stopped talking about how amazing we were treated by the staff

Resort was very clean and well kept. Resort is quiet; not a party if that’s what you’re looking for. Room was exactly as we expected. The shower was separate and faced the windows but had a clear door. Which was fine as far as people from outside seeing in. Not so much for others in your room. Hot springs weren’t particularly hot. We found poison dart frog on the property which was cool. And breakfast was amazing. View of the volcano was AMAZING when the weather cooperated.

Great place! The room was huge and even included our own indoor hot tub! The pool was beautiful with a great view of the volcano. Nice restaurant with good breakfast buffet and excellent view too. Hot springs were a bit too cool for me but still enjoyed them.

The rooms and dining facilities could use a refresh. The shower head had little pressure and the water was Luke warm at best, the water didn’t really flow towards the drain. It’s in a separate space from the toilet/sink area. There is a massive hot tub in the room. There was only a very small closet so we lived out of suitcases and used the hot tub as a flat surface to try to dry wet clothing. A better use of space would be a dresser or somewhere to hang clothes to dry. We also had a tiny ant infestation- they were in the bed and all over the bathroom even when I cleaned and killed them. The outdoors was stunning! We loved the hot tub and walking the grounds. The “game room” was also in need of an overhaul a the water filling station didn’t work. The workout facility was part of the game room and in need of repair and updates like everything else. Food was decent, breakfast was good.

Came here with a large party of 7. Gorgeous property. Rooms have Amazing views. Staff was courteous and friendly. Breakfast every morning was 5 stars. With regard to complaints about bugs, animal noises, etc, you are in a rain forest!! What else do people expect? Only thing to note is that the property is a little hilly and not super easy to get around if elderly/disabled.
