Went to Segreto at Arenal Resort & Spa, Brandon and Steven were our bartenders and were amazing! Made us some of the best drinks of our lives! Amazing customer service and everyone was so happy! Always greeted with a smile and great atmosphere!

El hotel muy limpio, el lugar donde se encuentra y las vistas al volcán increíbles , el personal fue espectacular y las habitaciones y las piscinas muy limpias, el servicio de lavandería rápido y muy bueno. Pero no es un hotel para llevarse todo el día, debido a que la comida y cena no están incluidas y los precios son carísimos y no es muy buena calidad si lo que estás buscando es comida típica costarricense. Como consejo levantarte, desayunar y marchar todo el día (el hotel está ubicado en una zona muy buena y segura)y volver para dormir o para pasar un rato en la piscina. El servicio de excursiones y actividades funciona muy bien con unos precios razonables.

Amazing in every way. The grounds are gorgeous, staff is top notch, and breakfast is varied and delicious. Also, there is an early morning yoga class that is a great way to start the day. Dayana at the front desk went above and beyond. And we loved the hot springs. Just wished we could’ve stayed a few more days!

Very good hotel with variety of restaurants. The Costa Rican restaurant was fab. Breakfasr was amazing. So many choices, you are spoilt for choice. Rooms were great,and gardens and pool well maintained. Easy to get taxi in to La Fortuna. for shopping or dining.

This resort was absolutely AMAZING!! The staff members were extremely kind and helpful. The resort is clean and they pay attention to detail. Cannot say or recommend this place enough. They helped assist and educate us on the tours and what they believe were the most impactful things to experience in Arenal.

From the moment we arrived at the resort we were surrounded by beauty and kindness. We were met with a cool towel and a welcome drink. Once we were checked in someone took us to our room on a golf cart and helped us unload our luggage. The room was amazing ! They had created the most beautiful design with towels on our bed and had a Happy Anniversary banner on our door ! We had the most beautiful view of the volcano and considered ourselves so fortunate to be able to see it al the way to the top. The landscape of the hotel is so beautiful . It’s like they nestled a hotel in the rainforest without disturbing a thing. We also enjoyed the hot springs and the great food we had while we were there. Everyone was so kind and considerate! Our first night we were there we went to the restaurant near check in and there was live music and they had put up balloons that said te amo for us. The buffet breakfast that is included is massive and had so many choices. Even someone dairy and gluten free like me could eat there! Thank you Arenal Resort and Spa for an experience we will never forget !

The entire staff at this resort greet you with warm smiles. This truly is a 5 star resort. The grounds are immaculate with beautiful flora. The spa is well worth the money. There are plenty of pools and we soaked in the warm volcano fed pools. Plenty of good food and drink. Breakfast was included in our stay. You won't go away hungry.

Pros: Hot springs at the resort and they’re for guests only. Not crowded and lovely. Amazing staff - shoutout to super positive Diana at breakfast buffet, Marylin the wonderfully warm hostess and Janys the waiter. Great location, large private rooms. Cons: The worst sleep quality - terribly hard mattress, very hard pillows. I requested soft pillows and it was the $2 Target quality pillows that had been washed, so inside was crumpled up in balls. Poor quality shampoo and hair conditioner Restaurants had inflated prices for small portions. If you’re charging premium price for food and stay, you should provide premium amenities like the pillows, mattress topper and shampoo etc. Overall, loved the resort, staff and location, hated the sleep and headaches the day after.
