I had a wonderful stay at Fortuna Retreat! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel’s location was perfect, overseeing the Arenal Volcano, and the staff was very helpful in arranging the tours for us. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the stunning views. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in town!

We woke up each morning to the sounds of tropical birds and howler monkeys, with sunlight filtering through the trees just outside our private terrace. Whether you’re lounging by the pool, exploring the surrounding trails, or enjoying a massage with jungle views, you feel immersed in the landscape without sacrificing comfort. The perfect spot to unplug and chill for the weekend! This hotel truly exceeded all expectations. The view of the volcano is absolutely breathtaking, you can literally wake up and see the majestic peak right from your bed. Speaking of beds, they were incredibly comfortable, I slept like a baby every night. The pool area is amazing, with warm water, great ambiance, and plenty of space to relax. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always smiling and ready to help. I would 100% recommend it and can’t wait to go back!

We loved our stay in Fortuna Retreat! It was our first time in Costa Rica and we knew Arenal Volcano was a must! We found this hidden gem, a boutique hotel where you feel immersed in the nature! The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and beautiful! The staff were incredibly helpful and shared with us different tours and recommendations on what to do in the town. They have a private parking and if you have an electronic car you can charge it! I’d definitely recommend it and will come back for sure!

I really enjoyed my stay here!! the rooms were not only beautifully designed but also felt very cozy and connected to nature, especially with that amazing view. Also the staff were super friendly and welcoming 🥰 Overall, it was a very relaxing stay and definitely lived up to my expectations. Would love to come back!

We spent the last nights of our recent CR vacation at this lovely property. The views of Volcan Arenal were amazing... and we lucked out and had a clear day out last day in La Fortuna, so got to see the entire volcano. The staff here was extremely welcoming and even left birthday surprises for my husband! We opted to add breakfast to our room, which was served at a neighboring property where we saw monkeys and sloths on our walks to/from breakfast. The bathroom/shower area in our villa was amazing! And we had our own enclosed patio with a plunge pool and gorgeous landscaping! Would definitely return to this wonderful property!
