Cute stay, but better options available
Hotel was clean and grounds maintained but it’s small. Limited parking and an extremely small “common area” that was more of a break room for the employees with limited amenities. Didn’t use the community pool since we had our own plunge pool in our villa. Water in the shower didn’t get too hot, but was spacious. Amazing view of the volcano was the best part of the place.
Avoid the restaurant they send you to for breakfast, you can find way better and way cheaper options by driving down to another Soda. We loved La Hormiga.
Overall a good affordable find as long as you aren’t looking for a hotel with many amenities.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at this small and friendly retreat, as part of our trip around Costa Rica. We had a room on the upper floor, arriving in light rain to a warm reception. The next morning we drew back the curtains at 6am to reveal an amazing sharp view of Arenal Volcano! Our room was clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished for all our needs. The bathroom was generous with a good shower and eco friendly toiletries provided. Breakfast is served in a small nature reserve with the bonus of seeing up close many colourful bird, baby sloth and more, what a bonus! It's the wonderful staff here giving advice and helpfulness that make this a truly memorable stay. Thank you

Very nice place to stay in La Fortuna, supermarket, restaurants in walking distance, friendly staff, beautiful rooms with direct view to the volcano, the breakfast is served in a place nearby where you have a very simple breakfast but you can observe the birds during your breakfast, worth to go

This is a great place to stay. The room was well appointed and very clean. Although we were on the ground floor we had an excellent view of the volcano (when it wasn’t shrouded in clouds!). The staff were helpful and friendly. A really nice feature is the common area on the first floor, with fridge, microwave and coffee making facilities. Also with a wonderful view! The pool is small but perfect for cooling off in. Breakfast at the Oasis down the road is a real treat, as you share the experience with a wonderful array of brightly coloured birds having their breakfast too!

Very nice property - new, amazing views. It is off- the main road, so there is a bit of a dirt road to get to it. Breakfast is available at another hotel - can walk there. Overall, nice service and facility. Everything stayed damp and didnt dry during our stay - it's just part of the dampiness in the air, even in the dry season.
