The hotel is great and the staff is even greater.
The overall decoration of the whole premisses is very beautiful and there's a nice garden facing all rooms.
The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom has a good size and the bath space is big. The shower has a good volume of water and the heating works fine.
The room also has a closet, a drying rack for clothes (very helpful with all the hot springs and rain), a small fridge and air conditioning.
There are two pools and they are well cleaned.
But the staff is the real highlight of the hotel. Everyone is super friendly, polite and helpful. They cook an amazing breakfast and can also help finding the best tours.
I couldn't have asked for a better stay at La Fortuna.
Highly recommended.

Friendly staff helped us book transport shuttles and excursions. Great location. Free breakfast. Clean, modern, spacious rooms. Beautiful grounds attracted hummingbirds. Pool a plus. Great price. Would stay there again. Highly recommend.

Estancia estupenda. Muy bien situado y personal muy amable con buenos consejos. Buen desayuno con varias opciones. Piscina muy agradable. Les recomiendo este hotel muy limpio, con parking y vista al volcan.

Great quiet hotel, large room with comfortable beds. Lovely gardens with lots of birds and frogs and a sloth in the tree next to reception. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the pool was great Unfortunately couldn't see the top of the volcano due to the cloud cover. The breakfast needs to be improved.

Hidden Gem!!!! Excellent staff, facilities were immaculate. Also met the owners, super humble and eager to make sure guests were enjoying there stay. La Fortuna area is a very nice, safe environment for families. Hope to return in the future.

Loved this hotel! Highly recommend! Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff; great breakfast that’s included; Beautiful grounds; Reasonable price; Rooms were immaculate with cold AC and comfortable beds; Nice location with secure parking. Suggestions: A luggage rack would be helpful to get suitcases off the floor; and the shower needs a nonslip mat

This hotel is in a great location, offers a good breakfast and for value for money, has everything you need! However, the star of the show is Fabricio. From checking in, to booking tours, finding sloths, serving breakfast and restaurant recommendations, he is the best front of house/receptionist we have had in a long time! I can’t speak highly enough of him. The hotel are lucky to have him!
