A fabulous stay and spotlessly clean We had a friendly welcome, a great breakfast with lots of homemade cakes and jams. The owner has lots of time for all the guests and also took the time to explain a local running route.

What an amazing find! Tanguy has done a great job both inside and outside the property. He told us that if there is enough demand that he will “chef up” dinner (my words, not his) and next time we’ll be sure to ask him about that before we arrive.

We were late arriving and had been anxious, having booked dinner, but Tanguy was a relaxed, understanding, and welcoming host. The room with its window seat, large and well-appointed bathroom, and surroundings were spotless. Despite being only a couple of streets from the busy main road Le Clos des Poulies was peaceful and set in a lovely garden. Dinner was great - thank you Tanguy!

Un hôte aux petits soins et avec un grand sourire. Les chambres sont spacieuses et agréable. Nous y sommes restés deux nuits et on serait bien resté encore plus longtemps. Tanguy est très arrangeant et peut en plus se transformer en chef cuisinier si besoin. Sans oublier la jolie collection de BD (Tanguy est Belge !).

De bed & breakfast is werkelijk prachtig, met ruime en uiterst comfortabele kamers die een oase van rust bieden. Het feit dat er een parkeerplaats direct voor de deur is, maakt het verblijf extra handig. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en continentiaal, perfect om de dag goed te beginnen. 's Avonds kun je genieten van een voortreffelijk driegangenmenu bereid door de gepassioneerde eigenaar, die tevens een getalenteerde chef-kok is. De gebruikte ingrediënten zijn allemaal vers, wat de maaltijd des te smakelijker maakt. De ambiance is zeer gezellig en gastvrij, waardoor het verblijf echt een aanrader is voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een culinaire en ontspannen ervaring.

We spend a fantastic week-end with some friends. The host were super nice. Great place, delicious food cooked by the owner Tanguy. Perfect to disconnect a couple of days or stop for one night. Several interesting things to do in the surroundings.

Wonderfull welcome at the Clos des Poulies. Tanguy and Isabelle were perfect hosts for us. The food was just amazing. The accomodation was charming, combining a touch of modernity and tradition. The location is great: walking distance from the forest for nature walks and 30 min by car away from Orleans and Castles (e.g. Chambord). Strongly recommended.
