Villas Jardin Del Mar

Jardin del Mar exceeded my expectations. The property is beautifully landscaped with both small and large patios in several areas. The room (Delphin) was clean, well maintained and equipped with all of the basic amenities needed for our stay. First and foremost was the view! The property is right on the beach. We watched whales, porpoises, sea turtles every day! The onsite kayaks were great for excursions out to get a closer look at the whales. The town area is about a 15 minute walk along the beach. There are a number of restaurants with a wide range of foods and prices. Don't miss La Cata in the fish market area or La Balina Blanca for their shrimp tacos! Be advised that at high tide, you may have to climb on the rocks for short intervals to keep your shoes dry. Don't ask how we know that. Mario and Yolanda seemed to appear out of nowhere whenever we had a question. Both were very helpful during our stay. In short, it is a beautiful property and I am making plans to return.

Had a great stay at this beautiful property. The room, the view, the pool and the grounds were all splendid. The staff, especially Mario, were all very friendly and helpful. It was an easy walk on the beach into town. We hope to stay again in the future, and would highly recommend it especially for those looking for a quiet, romantic getaway.

Awesome place! We loved our stay! The Villa is just that. On the beach, wonderful pool, gorgeous rooms and an open air kitchen to use at any time. The beach has loads of shells, with kayaks for your use. Adding paddle boards and snorkel gear would be a wonderful up to date addition. Incredible art and antiques are found everywhere on the property. The safety level is great, we always felt very safe. The proximity to so many towns and beaches can’t be beat. Renting a car is very helpful. You will not regret choosing Villas Jardin!

This is a hidden gem located on the beach. Mario and Yolanda were so genuine so authentic so helpful in every way. They shopped for us and Yolanda prepared a nice breakfast daily. All Casitas are nicely appointed. We had Casita Delfin. We had such a great time doing nothing. Lovely garden and a great pool.

Jardin Del Mar is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Even for a short stay I feel restored and at peace after hearing the ocean every night. The grounds are extremely well maintained and the staff are very friendly and helpful. This is my second stay and I look forward to my next!

This is a one of a kind resort. The rooms are spacious and little details that one needs while away have been thoughtfully incorporated. The beach in front of the resort is not great for swimming, however, a short walk towards La Cruz you will find a better beach. It should be noted however that while I was there, the CONSTRUCTION NOISE from both the south and north of the property had construction noise Monday to Saturday which means it is what you will hear sitting by the pool, ALL day !
