Very pleasant, really French hotel
We had a most pleasant stay at the Château de Mel-Lésé which is more like a nice home than a "château", but that does not matter. The interior of the place is old-fashioned French, but the bed was excellent, with a good bathroom (despite showering in the bathtub). All in line with the modest prices. Wonderful friendly staff and the most amazing views.

A wonderful stay in a charming French hotel
Really wonderful stay with the perfect hosts! Great location,close to village,beach and shops.The pool was superb and had it to ourselves most of the time.We will certainly be returning in the future.

A place full of love, with amazing people
We had the best experience possible: first, the hosts are absolutely lovely, and it would be a pleasure to come back just to see them. Second, the view is amazing - you wake up with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean sea. Last but not least, the food was delicious and the service impeccable. A full on, perfect experience.

- Good location and view. - Not much noise from the busy road, intrusive and very ordinary decoration (only fake old), parking closed to customers the car sleeps outside, no fridge, no coffee or tea maker in the room, a miniature TV screen unwatchable in the room, the living room closed in the evening so as not to disturb the bosses who watch their giant screen TV reserved for them, a lot of paperwork on arrival as if we were changing countries and arriving in Africa, 140 bed, no duvet but a blanket, a totally cramped shower, codes everywhere making you feel insecure... In short, we don't recommend it at all. Better to take an AIRBNB! The management will be able to answer whatever they want, they are an African 4 star, not French. We have seen 2 star hotels in France that are much more comfortable.
