My recent experience at this hotel has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. I booked a room on their website for my stay paying with my debit card. However, upon arrival at the hotel, the receptionist insisted I pay again, despite showing proof of payment from my bank account. Eventually, I was given my room, but the receptionist returned shortly afterward, asking for an additional 2.40€ in cash for city tax, which I reluctantly paid. To my dismay, a few days later, I noticed an additional charge on my bank statement, meaning I was double charged for my stay. I’ve reached out to the hotel via emails and phone calls multiple times, but have received no response. The complete lack of communication is deeply frustrating and stressful. As a loyal customer of the Louvre Group, this experience has shattered my trust in their professionalism. I’m still waiting for a refund and proper resolution, but this experience has made me seriously reconsider staying at any Louvre Group hotels in the future.
