We have stayed at the Channel Lodge many, many times since they opened (at least annually, sometimes 2-3 times per year). It’s always a lovely experience and we enjoy La Conner and the Lodge very much. We love the newest bedding/wall decor updates and the beds are very comfortable. The decks overlooking the Channel are wonderful - a lovely place to hang out with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and watch the boats go by. The breakfast is pretty good, too (but don’t let that stop you from trying the Calico Cupboard down the street which has fantastic breakfasts as well!). The only issue the lodge might want to address in the future is that the jacuzzi tubs and shower tile are looking a little tired and are probably due for a refresh. It would be nice to have a few more walk in showers as well, as climbing into those tubs can be a bit of a hike for us shorter people! We’ve already been 4 times this summer, and we look forward to our next visit next month!

Nach einer anstrengenden Fahrt von Vancouver nach La Conner (3 Stunden Wartezeit an der Grenze) war dieses Hotel eine echte Erholung. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Balkon und Ausblick auf den Swinomish Channel. La Conner selbst ist sehr übersichtlich, hat aber nette Geschäfte und Restaurants.

Front desk staff seemed impatient/ snarky at one point when my husband asked which way to our room. Check-in wasn’t complete, so they let him know that after we were checked in they would help him with his question.

This was our 5th stay at this property. Always a delight to be back in LaConner. Rooms on the channel are extremely scenic and relaxing with the water right at your deck doorstep.

Review of La Conner Channel Lodge – Admiral Suite
The exterior of the property is beautiful, and the location is very convenient to everything in La Conner. The seating area in the back is especially lovely and a great place to relax.
However, we experienced several issues that detracted from our stay—especially given the high cost of the Admiral Suite. One of the main reasons we chose this suite was the jetted tub, which initially didn’t work. We called the front desk but didn’t receive a timely resolution. Eventually, we went down in person and the issue was fixed—turns out an outside breaker needed to be reset. It would have been helpful to get that information sooner.
The room also felt quite stuffy. There were supposed to be directions for operating the ventilation system, but we couldn’t locate them. On top of that, we found ants in the bathroom.
Overall, it’s a beautiful place with great potential, but the service and maintenance were not up to the standard expected for the price point.
