Hôtel au top. Les chambres vue Sud sont spacieuses, parfaites pour profiter d'une vue agréable et la salle de bain bien équipée. La décoration est soignée, nous avons adoré. Le personnel est excellent, serviable, à l'écoute et met tout en oeuvre pour vous faire passer de superbes vacances. Très bonne qualité du petit déjeuner, offre variée. Nous dirions que le seul petit bémol et vraiment pas gênant nous concernant, le jacuzzi est difficilement accessible, victime de son succés :-).

We had a 4 night stay booked as the first time in La Clusaz, the hotel was excellent in contacting us when I emailed prior to arrival and able to give lots of information which helped to plan a great holiday. We had adjoining rooms as I have found that family rooms are a little on the small size when travelling with teenagers, the room was immaculate on arrival and warm with plenty of extra pillows and blankets available. They had a great choice for continental breakfast but small amounts were left out of some things but it was not problem when you asked for more. The swimming pool was a great additional to relax and stretch aching muscles before bed, we once spent the 15 euro each for the small hot tub, steam room and sauna but once was enough. (very expensive for what it is). The main reason that this is not a 4/5 review was the restuarant, this was clean but such small portions for the price with a limited choice of food, our plan was not to eat there more than once but as we found you need to book for dinner in La Clusaz including take aways. They also would benefit for extra staff serving as there was a long wait for water when requested. I would stay in the hotel again as the staff and rooms were brillant but would avoid the restuarant.

DÉÇUS… DÉÇUS… DÉÇUS… Contexte : Réservation tardive pour deux nuits en amoureux 1. Il n’est notifié nulle part sur le site que vous n’aurez pas 1 couette dans votre lit double mais bel et bien deux petites couettes, autant vous dire que si vous avez prévu une nuit en amoureux, ça sera chacun de son côté sous sa couette. Mais ne vous inquiétez pas car vous aurez au bout du fil la manageuse qui sera là pour vous expliquer à quel point la situation est normale pour plus de 400 euros les deux nuits. Après nous avoir dit que nous avions manqué l’information sur le site, nous avons fouiller le site à la recherche de cette information inexistante, mais d’après ses dires, il fallait s’en douter en voyant: un couchage de 180 X 190 (lits jumelés pouvant être séparés en 2 lits simples sur demande préalable). Sachez que : - il est impossible de trouver une couette pour lit double dans cet hôtel - Vous ferez face a une manageuse de mauvaise foi qui vous expliquera comment le client doit s’adapter à l’hôtelière (elle vous expliquera aussi à quel point il est normal de trouver ce genre de literie dans toute l’Europe) - Vous n’aurez pas un lit double mais deux lits simples collés et joint par un très beau drap housse (inscrit sur le site) En conclusion, si vous aimez votre femme et voulez passer un moment agréable en amoureux, passez votre chemin.

Hotel Carlina is a walk up a small hill out of town but being able to store skis at the ski hire shop was really helpful. Staff at the hotel were all excellent. It's a shame guests need to pay to use the hot tub, sauna and steam room but the pool was good - if a little on the cool side for me.
