Stylish and elegantly furnished house, lovely setting in a quiet area of La Baule, walking distance from the sea. Excellent opportunity to practise speaking French, although Valerie speaks excellent English. Breakfasts were delicious with a wide variety of offerings, homemade jams, croissants, pastries, and something different cooked each day. The restaurant recommendations from Valerie were excellent, one within walking distance looking out across the bay, and others a very short drive away. We visited St Nazaire to explore the WWll history which was fascinating, and the Commonwealth War Graves cemetery nearby. It is also a short drive to the Brière National park, and the walked town of Guerande famous for its salt production.

We spent 4 nights in this magnificent property in the middle of a beautiful garden. Great friendly welcome from Valérie the owner. Our room was large with view on the garden, comfortable beds and convenient bathroom. This place is so quiet that one can fall asleep easily even in day time. Valérie is a master cook, and one can immediately tell when having dinner (on request) and breakfast. Everything is home made! Overall, this is a charming place where guests will enjoy "baby sitting" from Valérie. Congratulations and thank you!

Très bon accueil de Valérie malgré une arrivée tardive et une modification de dernière minute. Très bons petits déjeuners avec des choix différents chaque jour. La Chambre Urbane était très confortable avec son accès direct par le jardin et une petite terrasse dont j’ai pu profiter au mois de Mars. Excellents conseils pour les visites dans la région également. Merci encore Valérie, pour le prêt du vélo et l’accompagnement à la gare :)

Dans un quartier résidentiel et tranquille, cette maison contemporaine sur un terrain arboré de magnifiques pins, nous avons été reçues par la maîtresse de maison fort sympathique et à l'écoute. Sur ses 4 chambres proposées, nous avions réservé deux au rez de chaussée accès petite terrasse et sorties indépendantes pour la rue. Parfaitement décorées, spacieuses et soignées. Très bonne literie. Un petit déjeuner frais et copieux. Très bonne étape.

Une adresse à retenir absolument ! On pourrait se laisser à rêver en pensant « là tout est qu’ordre et beauté, luxe, calme et volupté ». Des petits déjeuners topissimes, plus que variés et une table qui enchante les papilles. Les plats sont vraiment très bons et généreux. De belles rencontres faites également. Nous y reviendrons !!
