Food was over priced and average. Service was terrible we have the most grumpy waiter on the planet. When I booked it asked if it was a special occasion…our wedding anniversary dinner. Zero acknowledgment of such special occasion. And a clearly unhappy waiter. He stomped off after my husband asked him to clean the food left from the previous diner on his seat…the waiter looked aghast it being asked to wipe it.

Este establecimiento está situado en un entorno idílico. Además se trata de un edificio con mucho encanto y perfectamente integrado en el medio. La decoración marinera/playera es de un gusto exquisito. A mi parecer todo el establecimiento esta pensado para ser lo más respetuoso con el medioambiente posible. Las vistas son preciosas, escogimos una habitación con vistas al mar, ver el amanecer desde la cama ha sido un momento excepcional! El SPA está rodeado de un jardín mediterráneo y queda perfectamente integrado, además el circuito de aguas está muy bien y la masajista muy profesional y atenta. Todo el personal es realmente muy atento y preocupado por el bienestar de los huéspedes. Gastronómicamente hablando todos los productos que ofrecen son de primera calidad, el desayuno es excepcional. El menú que escogimos en el restaurante era muy bueno y la carta del chiringuito está muy bien. Todo el entorno es idílico, un auténtico lujo de estancia. Agradecer el detalle que tuvieron con mi pareja por su cumpleaños! Sin duda un auténtico descubrimiento, un sitio para repetir!

Este hotel rural, situado en un enclave privilegiado de la costa, tiene sin duda muchos puntos fuertes. El entorno es espectacular, el edificio tiene alma, y el interior invita a la desconexión: sofás Chesterfield, biblioteca, partidas de ajedrez, un bar que sirve cócteles inspirados en recetas medievales… Una propuesta curiosa, diferente e insólita. Los fines de semana hay clases de yoga, y el spa —aunque pequeño— es acogedor y muy agradable. El servicio, por su parte, es excelente: amable, atento, impecable. En ese sentido, nada que reprochar. Ahora bien: vayamos al grano. El precio. Fuimos fuera de temporada, y aun así, el coste de la habitación nos pareció alto. No es que no lo valga, pero la relación calidad-precio invita a cierta reflexión. Otro punto a tener en cuenta: no hay piscina. Y en un entorno tan natural y soleado, se echa de menos. Un detalle importante si vienes buscando una experiencia de descanso más completa. En definitiva: un hotel con mucho encanto y personalidad, pero que quizá no termine de justificar su precio.

“Un refugio mediterráneo a un paso de Barcelona” A tan solo unas horas de la ciudad, el hotel ofrece una desconexión total en un entorno natural privilegiado. La integración respetuosa con el paisaje de Empúries, la calidad del servicio, la delicada oferta gastronómica y la serenidad que se respira convierten la estancia en una experiencia realmente reparadora. Perfecto para quienes buscan calma, belleza y autenticidad sin renunciar al confort. Sin duda, un lugar al que regresar.

We ate at the Bistro del Mar and had a disappointing experience. The service was inattentive and dismissive. People were waiting too long to be seated. Only one server seemed to be allowed to seat people, even though there were others who could. It was really hard to catch any service personnel's eye to get them to tend to us. There were a lot of staff, to that was not the problem. More than once, I was ignored, and no bill was ever brought to the table after I requested it, we waited a lot that evening. I went to the hotel counter to pay for my dinner so we could leave! That was a surprise, as this whole area is absolutely lovely, the people included. Sadly, the food was also overpriced for the quality and the tastes were average at best. A lovely terrace and location but so many other places that deliver something more special, locally authentic and food made with care and flavour.
