Hotel bien rénové, les chambres sont agréables et très confortables, le personnel débutant est attentif et dévoué , le prix des chambres est une nébuleuse qu'il est difficile de comprendre et les explications a l'accueil sont très flous. Un peu cher pour les prestations et la situation ( exemple: pas de room service , pas de peignoir ) C'est un Hotel en devenir , nous reviendrons pour tester la restauration qui semble prometteuse.

Une parenthèse enchantée ! Accueil très souriant à la réception de l'hôtel, chambre très confortable, moquette blanche très épaisse, très grande propreté et literie extraordinaire. Nous avons commencé par un cocktail servi au bar ( allez y, le lieu a gardé toute son âme ) , je vous recommande le " Affaire Conclue" puis nous avons dîné au 1815, les plats sont une explosion de saveurs,avec un raffinement recherché et une qualité gustative bien présente ! Service irréprochable avec des serveurs souriants et très attentionnés. Foncez les yeux fermés dans ce lieu magique !

J'y suis allée il y a 39 ans et j'avais un souvenir magique. J'y suis retournée pour un évènement et j'ai retrouvé ce souvenir. Un week-end exceptionnel dans une suite magnifique et cocooning, avec cocktails au bar juste délicieux et un repas éveillant nos papilles. Le personnel est d'une gentillesse rarement rencontré. Merci pour ce moment qui restera dans nos mémoires

Eager since its renovation to discover this place full of history. As soon as you pass through the front door, with a warm and smiling welcome, you feel that something exceptional awaits you ... Seated at our table, the eyes are attracted and captivated by the richness and finesse of the overall decorum. The rest is a succession of emotions during the discovery of the plates (which we look at like a painting before daring to dig into them), the carefully chosen wines, the added surprises ... The creative talent of the chef is exceptional, the eyes and taste buds shine with each act .... 1 bright star on the horizon? The service is very precise and attentive, and not at all "stiff". The creator and master of the place, Julien COHEN, appears and it was a very generous and inspiring encounter. The desire to extend the evening in this place led us to discover the bar and its curiosities as well as its talented mixologist. A magical evening, out of time, an exceptional place that we would like to keep for ourselves. Except that it is with certainty that the Hotel de la Poste will be coveted!! We hope to be able to return there very soon.

The rooms are perfect and tastefully decorated by the owner. Incredible! The decoration is harmonious and each element is thought out with finesse. The exterior of the hotel is done with great intelligence. Napoleon who passed by in 1815 would certainly appreciate returning!

We had dinner at the restaurant. Very pleasant experience. Perfect service. Delicious cuisine. Refined setting. And the presence of Julien Cohen with whom we had a good time. Do not hesitate to go to the bar before or after the meal. 2 hours from Paris. By train or by car. Very good plan.

The hotel is lovely and the owner is a lovely person. We felt wonderfully welcomed. In the evening we had dinner at the 1815 restaurant. Excellent cuisine, excellent and friendly service. All the furnishings are the result of purchases in antique brocantage! I hope to be able to return

To celebrate my Master's degree, my Dad invited me to the iconic Hôtel de la Poste in Avallon, taken over by Karen and Julien Cohen. First, we tasted extraordinary cocktails at the Le 1707 bar, created by a mixology maestro, Alexandre. Then we sat down at the Le 1815 restaurant, run by chef Reetesh Persand. Thank you again for this extraordinary evening. Perfect from start to finish. Extremely high-quality service, very pleasant company, food to die for, refined wines, soft and intoxicating music. Thank you for this culinary and visual journey. We left with stars in our heads and can't wait to come back to discover the 1st Star of this legendary establishment. Thank you for existing!
