The hotel is located near Kyoto Station. It was a little inconvenient to carry a large luggage because it was my first time staying there and it was located on a small road. But after getting familiar with the location, it was actually an acceptable distance. The bus stop is at the back door of the hotel, and you can go to Kiyomizu Temple, Shijo River Source, and Nijo Castle. Nishi Honganji Temple is just across the back door, very close. The hotel is owned by the Accor Group, and the check-in time basically follows international customs, with a check-in time of 2 o'clock and a check-out time of 12 o'clock, which is slightly different from local Japanese hotels.
