I would have rated this Guest House/B&B as 5 Stars if not for the very poor handling of a misunderstanding over the disposal of a glass milk bottle (189ml). The owner was rude and unreasonable, comparing the disposal of the bottle akin to taking glassware or a whiskey decanter. I suggested the instructions should be more clear on what is complimentary. Everything else about the location was just lovely....excellent bedroom, with plenty of room for two and luggage, and sitting area with a reclining couch for two. Breakfast was quite nice, with large portions. Lovely patio and beautiful gardens. Short walk into town for dinner. Limited options for dinner if arriving late in the evening. Some hotel restaurants only serve hotel guests. Take out options will be at least a 10 minute walk back to the B&B.

What a beautiful stay and lovely accommodation. We have atayed in Kyle and around the area many times and believe this may now be our favorite place to stay. For couples, you could not ask for more. The setup is perfect and we could not find any faults, even the choice of breakfast was ideal. We travel all the time exploring Scotland with guests and chose to stay here before visiting the Isle of Skye... a good choice. BTW.... although we do not usually drink a whisky at night while touring, we couldn't resist, I'm not sure what whisky was in the room but it was delightful, thank you 👍. We will definitely look to book here again.
