Just near the hotel, there was a delicious Yakitori shop and it is a convenient place. The hotel itself is the Toyoko ink quality itself. I can order ice cream and cake, but I was surprised at the reasonable price of around 300 yen even though it was a luxury inn. (By the way, I was surprised at the convenience store price for paid sake in the room.) The bath was very well cleaned. Currently, it seems that the chlorine concentration of hot water is measured every day, and it was posted at the entrance. I also liked the quality of hot water very much. There was a wide and deep area of 90 cm and a shallow area, and the 90 cm area was covered with balls and I liked it comfortably. I entered twice at night and in the morning, but the atmosphere changes completely, so I recommend entering twice. The room was very large and beautiful, and I felt particular about the details such as columns and fittings. The atmosphere of the garden seen from the window was also nice. Also, the bedding was excellent. It was the most comfortable inn I have ever stayed in. It was the first time I had such a comfortable mattress, the duvet was light and the best, and the design was nice. There were two types of pillows, feathers and soba, and the pillows of soba were low in height and I really liked them. I wish there were other inns and hotels with this height pillow. I used it with a breakfast only plan this time. Breakfast is served in a private room dedicated to meals, but this room is also nice. It is a nice Japanese room with a big window and can be eaten while looking at the green. The food was also available little by little, the presentation was nice, and it was fun to eat. Moreover, all of them were delicious and impressed. My husband said that even the white rice was delicious, but he was refilling it. If it was so nice at breakfast, dinner would be nice, and it was a breakfast that made me want to eat. When I was in the inn, I was really satisfied with the extraordinary experience. I thought there were few inns with an atmosphere that made me forget my daily life. I'm glad I took the plunge this time. I thought that sanitation management would be more solid than anywhere else now, so I would like to go again.

I came to Kyushu at the end of the year and the beginning of the year and looked for a hotel near Fukuoka Tenjin to go to Dazaifu on New Year's Day, but I was here because it was expensive and Yanagawa was cheaper than Tenjin, and the train flight was good. １ night ８３００ yen was cheaper than the center of Fukuoka, and it was convenient for sightseeing within １ hours by train for the distance to go to Dazaifu the next day. It is a few minutes walk from the station to the hotel (the opposite direction to the shuttle bus stop down the boat). The room was also very good for the price.

Kuniko-San was on reception when we checked in and served us breakfast each day. She was so helpful, engaging and incredibly welcoming. Traditional Japanese Breakfast was included in our tariff and changed each morning, delicious, pickled vegetables, grilled fish, rice with Tsukudani, miso , marinated octopus with vegetables, tamago & green tea & filter coffee. The room was traditional Japanese large and spacious 10 tatami with extra futons for increased cushion. The best part was the view from the room overlooking a lovely traditional Japanese garden, very private, and shielded from the bright morning sun by surrounding trees. I highly recommend this lovely hotel for an authentic Japanese experience

We came to Yanagawa to see and ride on the old canals and stayed at this authentic Japanese hotel for a night . Nice place right beside the canal where you can see the boats going by. There were three of us so we had a big room, one part Western with two single beds the other part was a Japanese tatami mat room where the staff made up a bed on the floor while we were at dinner. Booking in was easy and staff super polite which is the normal in Japan. Before dinner we went to the hot springs bath and relaxed in the lovely hot waters. We had booked in for dinner 6.30 pm. in the main dining room , we went in the Yukata’s that the hotel provided, very relaxing. Dinner was a set menu, typical Japanese food, about ten little bowls containing different items, miso soup, different Sashimi’s, chicken , pickles , eel, which this area is famous for and another lovely small fried fish, plenty to fill you up and for sweets a huge piece of water melon. The room did have a bath and shower but didn’t use them as we used the hot spring baths, there was free wifi, a safe and good TV. Slept well. First thing in the morning we went to the outside hot bath before going and enjoying a smorgasbord breakfast. In the Rockpool baths they supply all you need , body soap , shampoo, conditioner, hairdryers etc, always a nice experience. Typical Japanese breakfast , no cereals but plenty to choose from. We had trout and puffer fish, plenty of veggies, the scrambled egg was scrumptious. Plenty of fruit, mango , orange and delicious pineapple. While we went of doing a boat ride on the canals the hotel held our luggage for us, very handy. The hotel also has a good gift shop. We enjoyed our stay, gives you a real Japanese hotel experience.

The hotel is new and big. Although the area around the hotel is very quiet, it is only a few minutes drive to a nearby restaurant. If you want to go to Fuyu, it is recommended to pay attention to the opening hours of the stores because there will be holidays and many stores will not be open.
