This beautiful palace, original home of the Popiel family in Central Poland, is only two hours' drive from Krakow and is a gem. It has been lovingly restored to the very highest level and the family also runs an artisanal brewery, a bison farm and a stud close by. The bedrooms in the house are vast, minimally but elegantly decorated with bed linen and mattresses of the highest quality. The whole place is pristine without being fussy or overbearing; it still feels like a home. The food, sourced locally, is very good, and the staff are warm and welcoming. Make a detour to stay here and fully appreciate Polish hospitality, grand architecture and indulgent luxury. Perfect for a wedding, a photo shoot or an event too!

Kurozweki Palace has just been splendidly renovated and the museum has just opened on the top floor, with the history of the castle, the owner families, and a superb private collection of the painter Jozef Czapski! The guided tour is fascinating. We stayed 3 nights in the oficyna, with lots of space and very romantic. Several activities are offered on the estate: a huge park, bison safari, mazes made of beech trees with riddles for children, a playground, a brewery with beer made on site, a stud farm with splendid horses. Multiple private events can be organized there. In short, a place to relax.
