Kuredu Island Resort & Spa Reviews

Kuredu Resort Island is a large resort island with a long beach and a small tail, which is very beautiful.

There is a bathtub in the room! Very good experience! You can see turtles directly while snorkeling on the island! It is an island that is very suitable for diving!

There is basically no service at all. From positioning to arranging water flights, all kinds of chaos, we booked a room with a swimming pool at a high price on another platform, and we were told that we could not live with a baby, let us directly with them at the same high price Book a lowest room type. The local service staff in Maldives are already very fried dough sticks, and they have not provided any service after receiving tips, let alone even thinking about not giving tips. The house is small, but the bathroom is outdoors. In such a hot day, plus mosquitoes... There is a golf course inside, which is a highlight The food is average, but there are too many people, and the flies keep flying. Generally speaking, it is suitable for poor travel, and many young people and Eastern Europeans are there. Definitely won't live a second time.

We arrived for a 10 day stay and from the moment you arrive in the island you receive the warmest of welcomes. Your luggage is all taken care of & gets taken to your room for you. You are greeted by your island host who goes through everything with you & sets up a WhatsApp group with you so you can ask anything or book/organise things - you can also use the Kuredu app which is very good. They also go through safety with snorkeling etc, what to see & which fish to give a wide berth (trigger fish, lion fish etc). Full face snorkel masks have just been banned on the island but we saw people with them snorkeling. Beware the strong underwater currents along the drop off on the house reef. The rooms are nice & spotlessly clean, all soaps, shampoos, conditioner etc is provided & smell amazing. The food, well, I've never tasted such amazing food! Totally delicious everywhere we ate, amazing buffet with different themes each night. The best restaurant by far was The Beach Restaurant, where the staff were brilliant & the food was the best food I think we've ever had - the lobster thermador was just out of this world. The staff attitude & attention to detail is fab & customer service is outstanding. Would definitely return. The only criticism we had was that there is a lot of things not included in AI+ that we thought should be included, for example, coffee pods in rooms, speciality restaurants, paddle boards and a dress other things that have been included in other places we've been. Also if you're booking the water villas , you cannot swim off them or snorkel on that side of the island. Other than that, amazing time!

Runaway from Christmas and New Year for 2 weeks of totally relaxing. Took the shoes of at arrival and put them on again the day we headed back home, magic! Good food, friendly people, a lovely stay in total! Felt like two months... The best way to end a year and start a new.

from the minute we arrived we were greeted by sinjo who gave us his what app number so any thing we needed he deal with it very quickly, the staff at O resort greeted us with all ways a smile the chef would go over and above to make sure my eggs or steak was cooked to perfection, the buggy staff Albin , jenny on on the block were always their to pick us up they work so hard , the staff a main reception joan and Anees were fabulous, kuredu is a informal place anything goes from bare feet to fancy shoes , pro dive was brilliant we will be back again

Kuredu 2024 Great Family Holiday Friendly and professional staff. Excellent food. Stayed in Garen Bungalow was very nice and clean. Mini bar had a great selection and stocked daily. Golf was very nice. Would definitely recommend this resort. Lovely resort.

It was a fantastic experience. I didn't like the little additional payments here and there, all inclusive should be that really. The room was great, staff lovely and friendly. Lots to do but great to relax. Loads of watersports, some swimming pools, the ocean is incredible, golf, spa. It has lots.

We had the most incredible stay on Kuredu Island. There was not a single thing missing! Although we had a little mixup with the booking at our arrival, Samee did his best to clear things up, and we could fix everything real quick. Thank you for all the great assistance during our time, Samee! Every single employee on this island was friendly and did his/her best to make our stay unforgettable! A special thanks to John Amstrong for caring so much about us and always putting a smile on our faces (: Thanks to Anima for beeing an amazing waitress and to Nikhil for the best room service! We most definitely recommend the yoga classes with Maaya, what an incredible woman!! Thank you! And last but not least thanks to Lara for the wonderful diving experiences! We spent our wonderful dream vacation in Kuredu. Wonderful Dream 30th Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal Wedding! I will never forget it. I hope we will come back again! My husband Joe and I when to the Maldives this Sept fulfilling one of my bucket list goals. We arrived by sea plane and I was amazed at the beauty of the island. Our jacuzzi beach villa was just perfect with the ocean being around 20ft from our door . The restaurant we were allocated was a little too busy for us because all the children were there so we swapped to another restaurant with no children allowed. We had opted for all inclusive and we had Blue armbands, sangu bands are Red and O resort are orange . We had a wonderful time and the food was amazing, great quality and plentiful. The staff are awesome and can not do enough for you . We went to the beach BBQ on a Wednesday eve it was $75 each and it was a ice experience. We had 14 days of paradise, we wouldn’t go again because we love to travel and see the world but we definitely recommend Kuredu

We visited Kuredu for our 5th time in September 2024 and as usual it was pure paradise. We stayed in a Jacuzzi beach villa in the Sangu resort. Our roomboy, Samsher Alam, was the star of the show and we miss him so much already. Samsher was always available when we needed something such as extra pillows. He is so pleasant to talk with and has an excellent customer service attitude. He decorated our bed beautifully for our anniversary and he made sure we felt cared for. It was so good to see Ali Rahman again in Sangu restaurant and meet our waiter, Ibrahim. Both of them have a great sense of humour and made sure we kept our water intake up. Everyone in the restaurant was extremely pleasant and kind and went out of their way to meet our needs. Special mention to San for her pleasant smile and wonderful kindness. Also to the chefs who took time and care to cook our food to our requirements. Last year we met Azmee in the O resort shop and he made us feel so welcome. It was amazing to see him again this year and pick up our friendship again. We also met Samee (our island host from last year) and it was so wonderful that he remembered us and spent some time with us catching up. We will return to Kuredu as it is pure heaven on earth. Every photo you see online of this beautiful island is accurate if not better in real life. It’s a place where you can completely disconnect from your day to day routine and chill. You can be as active or as relaxed as you want as there is something for everyone. Kuredu is an island that you will want to visit time and time again for two reasons.. they make you feel like family and the island itself is a beautiful tropical paradise.

We had an amazing experience with Maaya as our yoga instructor at Kuredu Resort & Spa. She is incredibly professional and radiates such a wonderful energy. This was our first time trying yoga, and thanks to her, we absolutely loved it! Maya made us feel comfortable and motivated, and now we are inspired to continue practicing yoga in the future. A huge thank you to her for this unforgettable experience!

Excellent holiday, with great entertainment and wonderful food. The main buffet was brilliant with food completely changing each day, and staff so friendly helpful. A special mention to our host, Samee & buggy driver Alvin who both went above and beyond for us and it was very appreciated. Can’t wait to visit again soon!
