"We stayed in a family room with my elderly mother, and although there were four beds, there was a living area and the space was spacious, so we were able to enjoy ourselves in the room.
My mother also broke her leg a few months ago and was walking with a cane, so we asked in advance if we could borrow a wheelchair and were able to borrow one from check-in to check-out. Thanks to this, we were able to stroll around Kurashiki's beautiful streets and eat delicious sweets, which was very appreciated.
The large public bath was also flat and easy for my elderly mother to use, and it felt good to be in a large public bath for the first time in a while, so we took a bath twice, once in the evening and once in the morning.
My younger sister had stayed at Ivy Square on a school trip a long time ago, so she also had a nostalgic feeling about it.
The plan also included breakfast, so we had breakfast, and there were Okayama specialties such as seared Spanish mackerel and mackerel sashimi lined up, so we enjoyed local gourmet food from the morning.
After the meal, we ordered some take-out coffee and sat on a bench in the courtyard, enjoying a delicious coffee moment surrounded by the ivy-covered historic building.
Although our stay was short, thanks to the thoughtfulness of the hotel staff, we were able to have a safe and enjoyable trip with my elderly mother.
Thank you very much."
"Okama issued Zhang で to use.
Because it was a car rental from Okayama Airport, parking lot complete
I chose Toyoko Inn as a hotel. But the rental car
Because the car height is 155 cm or more, it is ”marugo parking lot” of the tie up
Resident car しました (18:00-10:00 carry the price of 600).
The hotel is within 5 minutes walk from Kurashiki station, so even if you move by train
It doesn't hurt. There is a convenience store next to it, and the back is Kurashiki Center
Because it is a city, there is no problem with eating and shopping.
The room only has a toothbrush set, and other amenities are installed in front of the front desk on the 1st floor. The room is a very common business hotel, but personally the bed is hard
It was the best feeling.
The only difficulty is that the breakfast venue is in front of the front desk and the number of seats is
Less. Looking at it, plastic for lunch boxes besides dishes
There's a cock tray, and I'm going to take it back to my room.
I did. I was satisfied with the Okayama specialty ”shrimp meal”.
The lady at the front desk is kind and kind, so I want to stay again
I think so."
"We are a family travelling with 3 kids so we drive a car, and factored in luggage space.
1) Vessel hotel has hands-down one of the best beds ever! We checked and realised it was a Simmons mattress so the beds really offered us deep & restful sleep!! Love this!
2) The carpark was right outside the hotel so it was super convenient not having to walk up & down diff storeys to take things from car. We returned to hotel ard 10pm on 1 night & there were no more parking lots! We’d have to park at a multi-storey building that was 12mins walk away, which wld have been v convenient.
3) The breakfast was yummy. We went in summer & enjoyed the Barazushi (Okayama special during festivals) & the rice was sweet, salty, flavourful, and delicious with prawn, eggs, eel, lotus roots (see pic). Really yummy! Try it
4) Hotel staff were very helpful! We asked for an extra luggage stand so we wldnt need to bend too low & they brought it immediately.
5) There’s a big supermarket just across the road with cheap groceries that we stocked up on for our road trip.
6) If you intend to drive, this is a highly recommend hotel in Kurashiki!! Wld stay here again! It was great!"
"I was worried about it before. It is a hotel. The accommodation fee was quite high and it was impossible to give up, but this time there was a discount, and I was able to stay cheaply. The room as I thought was also spacious 々, and there was a luxury feeling and it was the best. Thank you."
"It is a new hotel. Although the rooms are not big, they are very clean and tidy. There is also a public bath. The hotel has a large open parking lot. Passengers can park and enter for free without having to draw a card. Guests staying here are advised to drive by themselves. It is very convenient but requires a car. It is difficult to reach by public transportation. There is an AEON supermarket near the hotel, which is convenient and can be reached within 2 minutes by car. There is also a 7-ELEVEN downstairs, so you don't have to worry about being hungry at night and having nowhere to eat late night snacks."
"The location of the hotel is incredible! It is just beside the main station exit. The place was in pristine condition, very spacious and the staff extremely polite.
The only down side is that it doesn't have a restaurant in which you could have breakfast. There are alot of great places to eat nearby but that would be a bonus."
"The facility and the rooms were all clean.
In terms of location, it's close to JR Kurashiki Station.
It felt closer to the station if you went along the back road than along the main road.
If I had to say one thing, I would say that there aren't many washing areas in the large communal bath, so I recommend avoiding busy times.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this hotel."

Amazing
KKhairuddin AdamDormy Inn Kurashiki is a gem! This cozy hotel in the heart of Kurashiki offers comfy rooms, hot spring baths, and a prime location just next to the historic quarter. The staff is super friendly. It's the perfect spot for a delightful stay in Kurashiki!
GGuest UserIt was close to perfect with all the necessary amenities and friendly front desk staff.
There are some vibrations from passing trucks as others have mentioned, but it wasn’t too bad, didn’t bother me much.
Right next to a supermarket.
CChristineLo910This was my first stay at this hotel. It's conveniently located near the station and an outlet mall, about a 5-10 minute walk away, mostly on flat ground. However, there aren't many convenience stores nearby; the closest option is a supermarket that's open until 11 PM, which is quite handy.
Upon check-in, the front desk informed us that check-in was between 11 AM and 3 PM, but we could already hear vacuuming noises as early as 9:30 AM.
**Room:**
The room was quite cramped, barely allowing enough space to open two 28-inch suitcases. The bathroom had good ventilation and was very clean. The soundproofing, however, could be improved. We could clearly hear people walking or talking in the corridor, and even the cleaning staff when they were on the same floor. The TV remote control was quite dusty, and the reception between the remote and the TV was poor. The air conditioning unit was located above the bed and was reasonably quiet. The hallways had low ceilings and were quite dim.
**Local Area/Activities:**
There are numerous restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter is also accessible with about a 20-minute walk.
**Safety:**
I had some concerns regarding safety. The public bath could be accessed without a card, and the doors to both the men's and women's baths were frequently left open.
**Walkability:**
A supermarket is conveniently located about 5 minutes away on foot. Kurashiki Station is a 5-8 minute walk, and it's easily accessible not only by road but also via a connecting pedestrian bridge, which is very convenient. Ario Kurashiki and Mitsui Outlet Park Kurashiki are both within a 10-minute walk.
**Dining:**
There's a dining area located on the lobby floor, and breakfast can be purchased separately. Snacks and drinks are available for ¥200 each. Additionally, near the front desk, there's a self-service area offering daily essentials and green tea powder.
**Important Notes:**
The large public bath is not a natural hot spring (onsen). The changing room is quite small, with only about 10-12 lockers, 3 vanity stations, and 4 shower stalls. The shower water pressure was a bit low, and the water temperature was inconsistent. The bath itself was also quite shallow. It is open 24 hours. There is one massage chair available for guest use. There's only one elevator, which is not very spacious, leading to longer waiting times. Rooms only have two door hanger options: 'refill towel' or 'please clean,' which must be placed outside the door before 11 AM for service. Self-service laundry and drying facilities are available.
RRobertRight near the historic canal area with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around, this hotel has a great location. The room was very clean and WiFi worked great.
The only weird thing to me was breakfast, which were pre-packaged sandwiches (tasted great by the way!). Outside of breakfast hours you weren't allowed to get coffee from the machine, you had to use boiled water and instant coffee instead in your room, a missed chance for something so benign.
DDary LamberThere is a microwave in the room which is quite convenient. There is a supermarket next to it. There is also a bathtub. It is simple, clean and quite comfortable. It is not far from the station and can be reached on foot. I recommend it.
Hhappy-cThe shuttle bus for Kojima Station is a red mini-bus. It parks at the taxi stand in the square. There's no designated bus stop sign; it just pulls up informally among the taxis. It runs every 30 minutes, so you just need to wait for it. The dinner at the hotel's first-floor restaurant was quite good. The outdoor hot spring bath on the third floor offered a decent view.
MMINNAMIt is near the Kurasaki Bikan Historical Quarter, so it is good for exploring the Bikan Historical Quarter, but it is a bit far from Kurasaki Station, so it takes about 15 minutes on foot.
It is old, but well-maintained, and the breakfast is delicious, although it does not have many varieties.
It is a decent hotel for a one-day stay.
GGuest UserThis hotel still functions as a 'love hotel'. The music and amenities made for a nice and romantic experience. It's a short walk from JR Kurashiki station. Breakfast is brought in the morning, which means that you can have breakfast in bed.
GGuest UserSmall chill hotel, 4min from the train station, free dinner in there evening.
Booked this place because I wanted to go see the nearby bridge view - the hotel had great last minute availability and a free dinner after a day of sightseeing was a welcome surprise!
I went to Kurashiki next morning and the direct bus leaves from a bus stop 2min away from the hotel - super convenient.
NNOBUTOSHIIt seemed like it was mainly for people on business trips.
I'm satisfied because I was able to stay at such a cheap price. Because it's so cheap, I wouldn't recommend it to those who are expecting other services such as cigarette smells and high quality food, but I would recommend it to those who are looking for a cheap place to stay. The scenic area is within 5 minutes, the food is pretty good both in the morning and evening, the large public bath is spacious, and I was able to spend a relaxing and quiet time here. I think it would be good to stay here again if I'm staying in the vicinity. Thank you.
