Kununurra Country Club Resort

It was a good experience staying at this resort overall. However, a bit more attention to cleanliness would make it even better. The room was decent, but the bathroom had a slight odor and could benefit from better ventilation or an odor neutralizer.

Picked up at airport thanks meal great , convenient to town

Conveniently located ( a couple of minutes walk into town) and pretty comfortable. Has a nice, shaded pool, a bar and decent breakfast. There is also a guest coin laundry.

Stayed here as part of an eighteen-day package tour of the Kimberley that cost over $1000 per day. The room was fine, with good insect screens, overhead fan and air conditioning that did the job. Everything in the bathroom worked as it should. Some others in our group reported unclean rooms but mine was fine — perhaps I'm not as demanding? The big letdown was the restaurant. Very ordinary food. I've had better pumpkin soup out of a tin. First night our group had to order new chips as the ones we'd been served were cold and soft. The buffet the second night was barely adequate with only a couple of nice dishes, and no vegetables apart from basic shredded lettuce. Breakfast was dismal. For cereals only two ultra-processed sugary confections. The scrambled egg was just sludge and even had liquid on top. I couldn't bring myself to try it, but I bet it was cold. Paradoxically, the best meals we had on our tour were in some of the most remote areas and some of the worst were in the towns. The best thing about this place is it's central, with easy access to shops.

This is a clean, comfortable place to stay in Kununurra, offering good size rooms with comfortable beds. It is situated in a convenient central location, within walking distance of cafes, shops and the local pub. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Got left at the airport 3/4 hour, we booked transfer, rang to ask where they were, said they were coming turned up in car, no signs on car and picked up two other people, rang again, were told we were in the wrong place of course we were not, no apologies nothing, and none from reception either, place is old, restaurant very expensive plenty other places to stay
