I loved this hotel! I had a view of Green Lake, on a high floor--it was worth the extra price I paid. My room was very clean and had all the expected extras, including small snacks and plenty of drinking water. It is a very short walk, slightly downhill, to Green Lake. Be aware of the slight hill if you are bringing a baby stroller or traveling with an elder. I used the laundry room, and because my Chinese is not too good, I called the front desk and they sent a staff person to help me figure out the washer/dryer settings. It was very helpful. The gym, which is next to the laundry room, is well-equipped and is partly "open-air", so it was fresh and not at all smelly. My stay included breakfast, which was ample. The breakfast-room is lovely, with views around Green Lake and the nearby temple. There is also an afternoon snack time--ice cream, crackers, fruit and such are free for guests. Above the dining room is a rooftop "bar", and although it was quite cold for hanging out up there, it will be a great place when the weather warms up--the view all around is terrific.
There is one thing I really did NOT like about the room--it is a so-called "smart" room, but it's not smart at all. Every time my blanket went low over the side of the bed, some lights turned on, and didn't go off again for several minutes. Every time I walked NEAR the bathroom, the bathroom lights went on, and stayed on for too, too long! I would much prefer to turn on and turn off my own lights WHEN I WANT THEM ON/OFF, not when they are "set" to go on/off. It was totally annoying and inconvenient, and also super-disruptive to my sleep.
