Tskaltubo Epic Hotel & Spa

We spent two wonderful days in this hotel. We lived in the central building, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, there is a sofa, table, refrigerator, kettle, glasses, tea/coffee. Clean bottled water for each guest. All plumbing works properly. Breakfasts are served in the restaurant on the 1st floor, everyone can find something tasty for themselves. The hotel grounds are very beautiful, there are recreation areas with hammocks and swings, access to the river. Play area for kids. Several swimming pools, sauna and hamam. Guests "from outside" also come to the pool, so there are a lot of people until the evening. Although, perhaps it was like that for us, because of the weekend. We had dinner on the hotel grounds, in a restaurant in the form of a kvevri, they cook quickly, deliciously. In general, we were 100% satisfied with the place.

Nice new hotel, good breakfast. The pool is warm, Prometheus cave is nearby.

I saw this magical place for the first time in 2021: after visiting the Prometheus cave, we sailed here by boat, and I admired both the contrast after the cave and the authenticity of this small hotel. Unfortunately, then I did not know that it was possible to stay here so cheaply. The place is so beautiful and atmospheric, the territory then and now is very well-groomed, green. Then I quickly managed to take a few photos (I found them and am posting them now), and we were quickly taken away. The second time I was here again at the beginning of the year, 2024 We celebrated the New Year in Kutaisi, and then went to Svaneti, on the way back I certainly decided to show my friends the Prometheus cave, after which we had to go to the airport, we were in a hurry for the return flight. We could not sail by boat due to the high water level. And again I was not able to see this hotel and study it closer. And now, only 10 months later I was finally able to stay here))) Before that I lived in Tskaltubo for 12 days to take radon baths and regretted that I did not stay at the Epic Hotel. As it turned out, it is not far from there to Tskaltubo, and the trip costs from 5-7 lari by Yandex Taxi, during periods of increased demand about 10 lari, or you can rent a car, which is even more interesting. Next time I think I will definitely stay at this hotel longer. The hotel has a large selection of both Kakhetian and Imeretian wines. I really liked the atmosphere, our room was #205 on the second floor overlooking the pool, neat, clean, spacious, the bed is comfortable, bed linen and towels are fresh, ironed, disposable slippers, white, there is a tea set and instant coffee (although I don’t drink it), the staff is very friendly and welcoming, especially Nino, who speaks 3 languages well: Georgian, English and Russian, and speaks a little Spanish. The breakfast was modest, but tasty and most importantly everything was fresh, vegetables and fruits were natural. The coffee machine also worked. That is, for such an affordable price - an excellent option and for me it was an unexpectedly good choice! Perhaps it was because of the low season that there was such a price, but I still recommend taking a closer look at this accommodation.
