Old traditional hotel but rooms are in terrible decaying conditions and very dirty. Only a small portion in a newer building has renovated rooms. Pillows smelled so bad like never washed that I had to use a towel to cover them, but bed sheets were clean. Issues with old wood structure and termite damage in the rooms as well as very dirty bathroom. Friendly reception was very helpful arranging a morning safari but seemed embarrassed themselves about the neglected conditions of the rooms. Thekkady is a popular Hindu pilgrimage location hence hotels are quickly full. Hotel restaurant staff was very disinterested to take orders and serve breakfast or food, but great coffee shop across from hotel instead and excellent other restaurants within five minutes walking distance like the Jungle Cafe restaurant.

Service is too poor, hotel room r also not good it looks good but not maintained properly waste of money place they don't even provide handwash in washroom, bedsheet smells dirty couldn't sleep properly not at all a good place at this price they are charging too much money but not providing any service

It was good. Located to all nearby attractions as jeep safari, kalari, kathak, periyar wildlife. Recommended to future travellers.

Location is good, at the heart of the city but calm and quiet place. The look and feel of the hotel and rooms follows traditional kerala architecture with wooden works but a bit more maintainance is required. Overall stay was good and comfortable

Expected breakfast complimentary rooms are average not so promising as seen. The way to the cottage and the stairs are under construction. No dental kit provided. Unhygienic bucket inside the toilet

Surrounded by greenery and rooms are spacious and clean. Calm and cozy if you want to spend time with nature this is the best place to stay and very closer to all the major tourist attractions.
