Four Villages Inn

Brilliant hosts who make you feel at home, relaxed environment and excellent varied breakfasts. Frank and his family were welcoming and gave us lots of advice for places to go, even giving us lifts to dinner locations! They can recommend a local guide for the city and anything else you need. It was a great place to stay where you can feel at home - we were there for over a week. The morning breakfasts are delicious, the rooms were tidy, clean and well looked after. It's a little outside the main city centre but not far at all by taxi and the Melcom Road has lots of shops and food places to choose from. The only downside is the big road nearby which can be busy and loud at times. Otherwise completely recommended for any traveller to Kumasi! Thank you!

Beautiful property, beautiful room, very down-to-earth and hospitable hosts. Did two great tours: one of Kumasi with Comfort, arranged through Frank, and the other to the craft villages with Frank. Learned a lot about the country and area with both of them. Got to have Sunday lunch with the family too! Price very fair, no complaints.

This was my first time staying at 4 Villages but in the past had picked up colleauges from the property. It was a lovely stay! I told the owner that the shower I had on my first morning there was the best I ever had in West Africa! On certain days I had to be out early attending to work meetings and breakfast was always ready for when I needed it to be. Very comfortable and clean rooms and much more charming than staying at a hotel! Bonus is one of the dogs on the property is the offical greeter!

I liked pretty much everything about the Four Villages - we stayed at two places in Kumasi, one on the way from Accra to Mole and the other on the way back. I wish we had have stayed here on the way back as well. The Four Villages was run by a mother and son team and was very homely (NOT the US meaning, more the UK meaning ie "cozy and homelike") - the rooms were comfortable, breakfast was great and it was very nice talking to the owners. The location was pretty good as well - quiet but easy to get to the center (with a car)

We chose to stay here several days as we visited Kumase for the third time, but the first in over 30 years. We couldn't have chosen better. The room was comfortable with everything we needed, including a reasonably priced minibar. The free breakfast each morning was a delight. The owner, Frank, is a knowledgeable source for Kumase and Asante in general with lots of personal experience.

It is a very cozy hotel. Frank the host is very helpful for question and. with the excellent breakfast. The room we had is spacious and tastefully decorated. The only drawback is that there is no shower and you have to shower while sitting in the bathtub.
